Guys, just because we aren't going to be a vendor anymore doesn't mean that you are all screwed. Our second batch is going to be sold through our vendor network as originally planned, only the first batch was for the acurazine group buy. Your systems are still covered under warranty! I will not be able to sell on here anymore, but that doesn't mean you won't get your replacement parts. Once replacement parts arrive to US shores, i will contact you both.

asdf... cop just pulled me over for the exhaust. Does anyone know if this exceeds the 95dB limit in California?
I know it says it does, but has anyone actually brought there's in to be checked? Also have a CAI, not sure if it affects this.

C'monnnn GReddy!
Like Acuratein said, all you have to do is have your R&D team modify the 7G Accord mounting points!

Waiting for spring here in New England, haven't even opened the box yet. Some of the posts I have reads about the drone have concerned me. Really don't want to mod this exhaust. Hoping other folks chime in on their experience. Still on the fence.

I've had mine on my type s for a few weeks now, and I get so many compliments, it really isn't that loud, and the drone has almost disappeared, or I've gotten used to it, I tell you guys this much, it gives 350z and g35 exhaust tone a run for their money literally it sounds similar but deeper and tuned
hope you guys enjoy it as much as me when you finally install

I finally got my exhaust installed and I can't begin to say how happy I am. It's been sitting in the living room for almost 2 months now. (someone hit my car the day before it arrived and it took me to now to get everything back in order) I've only had it out for a 10 minute drive, but was grinning ear to ear the entire time.
Thanks again Greedy (chris)
Oh BTW, tomorrow is our Houston meet and as far as I know I'm the only one in Houston with the exhaust.

From what I can tell, tolerance for the drone seems to somewhat depend on age. I'm 36, and although I agree that the drone wasn't THAT bad, it was a little much for me, being that I drive 80 miles a day in traffic and sometimes use my car for business. I've had other cars with aftermarket exhausts that droned a TON more than this one. The younger TL owners don't even seem to notice the drone that much. I, too, hesitated greatly at the though of modding/cutting into this exhaust, but I was able to find a really nice workaround as evidenced in this thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173306
Hope the link works. This way I got rid of the drone to my satisfaction and didn't have to cut up the exhaust. Regardless, I'm quite sure you'll be happy.
BTW - you really should open the box and check for damage - some owners had some pretty bad scratches due to flimsy packaging. Mine wasn't too bad and the exhaust is gonna get battered under the car anyway.

I just shipped a GReddy Exhaust System and the weight was 72 lbs (actual was 71.xx lbs). Dimensions after adding extra packaging material was 53 x 27 x 11.

Installation
For those that have already installed the system, did you use the Acura OEM gasket in between the greddy system and the catalytic converter or did you use and aftermarket gasket?

Beat my excessive exhaust noise ticket today. I just brought in my inspection receipt and a print out of greddys web site page that says the exhausts stay under 95db. The judge said, "Very smart" and dismissed it and I went home. YaY, Greddy FTW!

Great to hear the success at court...
This is what I have printed:
http://greddy.com/gpp/ (On this page there is a section that says Keeping You Legal)
And then I also print the second page of the exhaust lineup brochure. It will actually state that the EVO2 is a Street-Style Exhaust (to show that it is a street exhaust system, not a race system for the previous printout & then a few lines after, it clearly states: "Sound tested to be below 95dB." This brochure is here:
http://greddy.com/featured/Exhaust_Brochure.pdf
Keep it in the glove compartment...just my
And Chris, just wondering, will Greddy be updating the lineup brochure so that it includes our vehicle in the application guide? Thanks again.

showing the inspection receipt paper was most useful. Just remember that in the court room they don't know you have an upgraded exhaust, they usually think it's a loud ratty, broken one. So if you can show that you passed inspection then they will dismiss on the principal that it's not broken.
