Strange feedback noise coming from new amp/sub install

I recently installed an alpine mrp m500 amp and 10" type-r in the trunk. I used a 4 gauge amp wiring kit and ran the power cable along the drivers side. I found a switched 12v source for the remote turn on in the trunk off the nav unit. I have tried 3 different grounds in the trunk. 2 I drilled and cleaned to bare metal and one that was a common ground. I have tried using a SNI-35 loc connected at the stock sub wires for signal. I am currently using the speaker level inputs connected to the stock sub wires. All configurations produce a low deep bass hum at idle when switching from park to reverse or drive. It also randomly happens when stopping for a light with car in drive. Once I tap the gas it goes away. Could this be a bad ground? If so can someone tell me where I can find a good ground? I am about to rip it all out and give up.

Have you disabled the rear noise canceling mic?

My set up did the same thing! When i pulled out of the audio place and hit the gas, my sub sounded like it was going crazy. Pulled back in and the guy said they freakin cars are so high tech, he disconnected something with the voice recongtion!! He took apart the map dome lights and disconnected something up their!!

I have had the same problem, posted the question and no one responded. I changed the battery cable to the ground with 0 gauge wire and a brass terminal and the sub is a lot quieter coming to a stop. I had both cancellation mics previously. I bet it is the ground in the trunk but pain in the butt to get to it for me.

I meant to say both cancellation mics were taken out previously.

No idea why everyone's problem isn't exactly the same, but it is the noise cancellation mics. Most people get away with disabling the rear mic, but I had to disable both front and rear.
