Ordered mine this morning, the install shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

I am a bit worried about the longevity of this bulb, but I guess I can just keep my old ones around incase these blow.

I told myself to stop spending $$$ on mods, but obviously I have failed.

I don't think I will be doing any high performance mods. Just cheap minor mods. I just installed Nokya fogs and piaa for the corner lights. Going to change interior lights to leds this afternoon.

I doubt it is going to void the warranty for changing out these lights. They have been tested by other members here that they don't give the DRL warning light in the dash.

I'm at work, I only get to BK at 7pm I would do it right now at work, but I'm overloaded.

The install is simple, pop the hood, on the passenger side, just remove the black cover, and you should be able to reach the DRL bulb, twist off, replace, twist in.

For the driver side remove the battery cover, and in front of the battery there is a useless small black plastic cover, remove it, and it should give you access to the DRL.

I can't wait to see the results, finally I can stop looking like a bought a brand new car with halogens. lol (I bet that's what everyone is thinking when I pass by...look at that cheap ass)

LOL, useless engine covers, I guess if I get a chance I'll try to DYI.
FYI it took me 3 months to install my door visors & splash guards.

OK, I didn't get a chance to install anything...very disappointed.

I got stock in front of the Goethals bridge, they've closed it for 2 hours, so it was a nice long parking lot...so by the time I got home I was fuming and tired.... I did attempt to swap the bulbs while sitting on the highway, but for some reason I couldn't release the DRL connector....so probably was doing something wrong, anyone is willing to chime in? Thanks.

^^ LOL for trying to swap the bulbs during traffic. As for the connector, just press the tab and push down. It should unplug from the bulb.

took 3 mins to install, unless you have fat arms and hands i dont see how there is any issue. They look effing awesome, like daytime running xenon lights, super bright too!

I'd have spent $100 on these, they're that nice.

Rrrrriiight, very useful comment.

I wasn't sure, applying extra force may result in me having half of the headlight in my hands....so I rather ask....

I will do the bulbs install in my garage tonight...will def. post pics

I haven't done mine yet, but I *assume* the wire connection clip is similar to the Fogs and the Reverse light connections.

The clip is on the lower part of the socket, near the wire. It is on the front/exposed side and pushes in/forward. The connector then pulls straight down.

When I did my fogs I kept trying to squeeze the sides, but that wasn't where the clip/socket release was.

Post pics when done.

(Man I gotta order these, but SWMBO isn't going to be happy. Oh, the dilemma )

I'm not sure who or what SWMBO is but just do it. You'll be happy you did. As soon as mine get in, I'll install and post pics.

It seems I've been screwed. I opted for UPS thinking that they would deliver from Washington faster than USPS, but a couple others who placed their order same day and chose USPS have already received theirs. Damn!

OK, here are my pix of the Vled DRLs

I must admit my install was not easy. Removing the connectors was simple, but removing the bulbs was a pain, who ever installed them at the factory used all of their might...

Now the pics are taken with a basic camera. Tomorrow I should use my 10M SLR.
It's raining outside so the car is dirty

Before:

After:

One thing I've noticed, one led bulb is bluer (passenger's side) than my driver's side. I'll wait for others to install these bulbs and compare.

Hey, those look pretty good. I was fully expecting them NOT to be a bright as the stock...and they still may not be. But your pics indicate that their actually pretty close. I'm stoked now.

Smile Update

Hey, guys here are the day time pictures.

NOTE: They are NOT visible in the day time, as expected from a LED bulb.
(I am very happy with the result!)

They do look bright in some of the pics. What was the exposure time for the pictures taken in the evening/overcast? A longer exposure time would result in them looking brighter than they are.
