Are you asking what the car uses or what the site has?

The site has H11 and HB4; not sure what the TL uses for DRLs.. only one way to find out!...

So you have personally seen cars with the bulbs that you mentioned above?

Seriously I don't care to have them or not but since I have em I like em. Im siting in the car, not outside soooo, doesn't make a difference to me during the day.
BUt...

If I could get them BRIGHT WHITE, that would be better!

I agree, so i want to see some pictures of TL's with some super white lights (LED's or not) in place of the stock DRL bulbs. Has anyone made the change?

Even if you change the bulbs it won't change the color, because the voltage of the DRL are very low, so it'll give that yellowish glow. It's been tried by others with other bulbs. The best thing to do to change the color of the bulb is to tint the headlamp housing.

Very well said. You can change the bulb and it isn't going to change the output wattage. You can always do what I did, just remove the DRL fuse and bingo your set :o ) I took my car to the dealer to have some system messages reviewd on the navi screen, everything was set and I get a call from the dealer... They said " We're going to need your car overnight, we've been searching an indicator light message for over four hours and have been unable to pinpoint the problem" He mentions it's the indicator for the DRL's.. I was like, if you look at my paperwork it states that "Customer has removed drl fuse, please ignore the dash indicator" Morons! lol

Drl's

I have super white 35w 9005's i got from the local store here and they work fine
i also replaced my fogs which are h11's with yellow polarg 35w bulbs.

35 watt hid kits do not work for the drl's they flicker

I have not used the LED DRL replacements
heres the link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2pcs-...spagenameZWDVW

they are only one watt im not sure if the DRL light would come on
I personally would not put anything thats not exactly 35w in a oem application that requires 35w.
Especially on a 2007 vehicle.

This seems way too logical ... have others tried this and encountered problems? Is there a permanent, annoying indicator on the dash when you do this? If not, it seems elegant and quick!

Not correct in this case.. It's obvious the stock DRLs use a halogen bulb and produce a yellowish color due to the low voltage/wattage going to the bulb; however an LED does not change color based on the supplied voltage, and thus should not have an ugly yellowish hue to it.

Swapping halogen bulbs may not make a difference; but swapping in an LED cluster bulb will.

Correct, in addition, LED's are low wattage lights. They should work fine. I'll wait to here how they work.

Where did you use the super white 35w 9005's that work fine? Also, do you have pix showing the fogs with the yellow bulbs you replaced?

It shows the DRL indicator light, but i'm sure if you remove the dash panel you can just remove the bulb for the "DRL" indicator light. I just chose to ignore the DRL dash light.

i would leave the stock color hid bulbs in also
they are the most efficient

the DRL's are however halogen

Safety...well atleast that's what the engineers would say. I would rather pay a few extra bones for my car and have them installed with matching hids from the factory.

^ a few extra bones would be like.. $800+

And what the heck would be the point of having Bi-Xenons and then DRL Xenons?

For those who flat out hate the DRLs just turn on your headlights. They go off automatically.

I'm multi-tasking at work.

So you put the super white 35w 9005's in for the DRL's? And they are white? Cant wait to see the yellow fogs. I think they would look sweet on my NBP Type-S.

the point of drls is so that other cars see you not so you see other cars

HID drls would blind anyone coming at them and they will not work with the stock wiring and a HID conversion kit. 35w 12v is not enough
you need at least 55w to run HIDs because they change your voltage to 24v and 35w

heres a cell phone pic of my fogs i took on break. i forgot to take the pics of the white drls sorry i dont know how i forgot
