as always you're pushing the limits on what is even possible on other cars... but like I said on aim, you should be good, it is just .5" wider than the widest someone non fender flared has gone... the only other with x11 is rodney... which is why I mentioned ask him... but I am pretty certain you are good

ps. wheel whore

Question Exhaust stuff

Year: 2004
Model: Base
Color: Anthracite Metallic
Item you would like fitment to be verified:
ATLP J-Pipe
ATLP Racepipe
Greddy EVO2 Catback

Will all of these just be an easy bolt on and off type thing? Also will I pass inspection with all of these mods? Is the hole in the bumper big enough for the muffler tips? Lastly, what is the estimated HP gain from all these mods together? Your answers will be valued quite well!!!

Atlp fits of course
If you get the evo exhaust for the tl 04-08 it fits aswell

You should see a solid 15hp jump

Hello,

I don't know if this question was posted before. Forgive me if it has been posted in the past....

Year: 2005

Trim: Base

Color: SSM

Item you would like fitment verified:

I've noticed that the 07-08 TLs have color keyed mud guards. My TL has the black ones... I just wanted to know if the mud guards from 07-08 would fit on the 05 TL and if the paint colors are similar enough to match.

Thanks.

IDK if texas has a visual inspection. I don't think they do. But if so does that mean my CAI will cause me problems. The inspection people usually don't look under the hood. But does that also mean every time I want to pass inspection I have to swap the exhausts?

Basically, does it delete any catalyst converters? If not then I shall be good for Texas inspection!

the racepipe is the 3rd cat... so it does delete emissions equipment...
cai is not part of inspection (except in california it requires a carb sticker)

If I get the ATLP High Flow Catalyst will I pass emissions? Or if I have the Racepipe do I need to just swap it with the stock catalyst every year for inspection? Is the high flw catalyst any different in performance?

Well the high flow cat should def pass a simple visual inspection, I'd believe

But if yougot the racepipe and installed the heatshield it would pass also

you will pass
I'm pretty sure texas doesn't dyno cars that are this new... So they probably only plug into ur obd port... 3rd cat has no sensors and even if they did dyno your car it would pass since the gasses pass thru a pair of cats prior to the 3rd cat...

Glad I could help

You can, but it is very complicated. Look at this thread.

and at the same time ... you will have to modify the strut mount and or drill extra holes on your actual car... it has been done before

do I suggest it... no... contact excelerateperformance.com
he should be able to outfit you with a proper coilover setup of your choice

Yeah right after I asked I stumbled upon this guy who did it. Seems successful other thank the TMPS and the Airbag module. I suppose my biggest hurdle would be finding one from a 6MT

07-08 Blue foot lights

I'm probably not the first to ask this, but searching hasn't helped, and this thread is now too long to go through post by post:

Year: 04
Trim: Base Non-nav
Color: DMM (Not that it matters)
Item you would like fitment verified:07-08 blue footwell light system.

At oemacuraparts I found "34760-S3V-A01 LIGHT ASSY., FOOT" for both the driver and passenger side, but no indication of how they are mounted and powered. I have the 04 service manual, but of course it doesn't have footwell lights.

save some time... do them using led's of your choice in the footwell

pretty sure you don't want them to be on ALL THE TIME... so you wire them to the courtesy lights on ur door, or to the dome light... alternatively if you want them on all the time you'd have to wire them to the light inside of the center console...

it's been done before, wish I could find the thread...

foglights and bulbs you can get on ebay... the difference between type s and non is is as follows

S
/0----| ACURA |----0\

non-s
\0----| ACURA |----0/

come to think of it you have to use the non s grills, the type s grills won't work with the opening
