Thanks again Guru.
I have looked at the Enkeis - a few more questions for your expertise...

How much brake / wheel clearence is good practice ??

Also, do H&R, Eibach, etc. make spacers that go from an Acura hub, to say a bore of 73.1, or do these spacers only go from Acura bore to Acura bore ??

Again, Thank you for your time & advise. Fulcrum

eibach and h&r only make the acura to acura one... its 64.1

if you want one to be acura to universal you have to call wheeladapter.com and he can make you custom

but ekm3 aren't 73.1 I dont think they might be like 72point something

Item you would like fitment verified: I want to purchase a particular set of wheels but I don't know if they would fit. The sizes are as follows

Front - 18x9 +12 offset
Rear- 18x10 +23 offset

My suspension is currently stock, however I do plan on purchasing KW Variant or Tein SS coilovers and I know I would need my fenders rolled. I also plan on doing a test fit to see if they would clear my BBK, but my main concern would be if I would have to apply negative camber and if so how much?? I daily drive my car and I really don't want to spend money on new tires every couple of months. Any help would be appreciated...

too wide you'd have to hit the bodyshop and spend $6k on custom fender flares

oh I thought you were reffering to wheel studs... since alot of the posts are wheel related

if you have a manual honda shift knob it will fit...
the honda thread pitch for the shift knob is 10x1.5

Thanks man. I know the specs fit, but I'm really uneasy on rolling fenders and that stuff. Good to hear that's not required for this.

don't get me wrong it may
1. but it'll look bad
2. it'll look like 15" (since the tl makes all wheels look smaller)
3. the tires might not be rated for the tl's 3500lbs

All the manuals and DIYs on the site show how to remove the entire rear seat which involves the undoing this bolt, that bolt, etc. Only part I'm concerned with is the portion you actually sit your butt on. I've found the tab underneath the front of the seat and have tried pulling, pushing, and twisting the thing but it won't bulge. I'm just trying to prop the seat up high enough to get to the channel that leads underneath the car for some undercarriage lighting, then snap it right back into place. Do I have to go through the entire process of removing the rear just to gain access or is that tab just a PITA to shake loose.

Would these wheels fit.

Year: 2005
Trim: TL 5AT
Item you would like fitment verified:

Wheels: Work Emotion XC8
Size: Front 19x9 / Rear 19x9
Offset: Front +45 / Rear +35

The car is only lowered on A-Spec suspension, and running Rotora BBK in 4 corners. Would this setup cause any camber and rubbing issues? Also, what size of tire is recommended? I am thinking 255/40/19?? I am leaning more to rim protection than the stretched look. I am currently running 245/40/18 on the 18x8.5 A-Spec wheels, and the tire is pretty much flush with the rim (not much protection there). Thanks!

lol I hear you thats how I was my first time

try this, put your palm on the seat (where your balls would be) push down and then pull the tab forward (to the front of the car) and voila it will release

tire choice should be 255/30-19
wheels fit, rear fenders will require mild rolling

Thank you! If I keep the rim width at 8.5", what is the maximum offset I can get without doing any fender rolling? I am guessing +40 for 8.5" width, and +35 for 8.0" width?

8" +30
8.5 +35

Remember its only the rear that require rolling in your case (rolling fenders is no biggie)

thanks again. how about VOLK RACING: RE30 18x8 +44? if there no clearance issues, what tire size is recommended?

Year: 2005
Trim: TL 5AT

The car is only lowered on A-Spec suspension, and running Rotora BBK in 4 corners. I am currently running 245/40/18 on the 18x8.5 A-Spec wheels for summer, and the stock 17's for winter (235/45/17 tires).

doubt that is going to clear brakes but if it does 245/40-18 tires fit fine

Sorry...one more!

How about the Volk CE28N Genesis? They offer the following sizes in 18's:

18x7.5 +50
18x9.0 +35/+50
18x9.5 +22/+28/+34/+40
18x10.5 +18

Which one of the above would clear rotora BBK's and get away from rolling the fender? My best guess would be 18x9 +50....

18x9 +35 is the best bet w/ 245/40-18 or 255/40-18 same size all around

Wheel Fitment question
Newbie question: I know Maya STMs will fit on my car but they are a staggard setup. 19x8.5 245/35/19 36 offset front and 19x9.5 19x9.5 255/35/19 with 32 offset in the rear. Will this fit my 07 TL TypeS with Aspec suspension with no rubbing?

the front is fine but the rear is going to need fender rolling and negative camber....

Al,

19x10 +35 FR
19x11 +32 RR

They clear rotoras up front, worried about strut for both front and rear.

You know i'm slammed on Tein coils, fenders rolled, and tires will be stretched with no fatter than a 235/35 up front, and 255/35 (or 245/35) for the rear.

Just worried about inner clearance, strut housing and plastic fender liner.
