I have Tein S-Tech springs and stock wheels.
I need to widen the stance because the wheels look "sucked in"
Can I go wider than 10mm safely? 15-20mm?? If so which company do you recommend? with studs of course...

if you do 10mm its a pain in the ass because the little hubcentric lip doesn't really prevent vibration...

if you have 235/45-17 tires you can run a 15mm spacer... best I'd go with is ichiba... h&r's center bore is 64mm rather than 64.1 so it gets jammed...

see ichiba on ebay their pretty inexpensive and come with pushed in studs...

they also offer the version which comes with extended studs

So, if I do the 15mm then I need to stick with 235/45/17 tires when I get new ones? I kinda want to get something wider next time. Does that mean I should stick with 10mm? If so how do I ensure no vibration? If I get the ichiba with studs does that meanI need to shorten the stock studs?

yes if you go 15mm with the tein stech drop I would stay at 235... but if you run 245/40-17 or 245/45-17 the 10mm is ideal

the way the ichiba 10mm will work is it will require you to install extended wheel studs (which conveniently are included)... http://ichibausa.com/10alwhsp8.html

they sell em on ebay for the same price... but you save some bucks if you do them live.com style

If you have an 05 with over 20k miles I would not swap tires

It is possible since both are factory equiped with 235/45-17

If shopping for new tires see DiscountTire.com

You should be able to get all 4 for $400

Thanks for answering my previous question. U are the best in this Forum XD
Im looking at a TL type s exhaust system. if the seller is gona cut it to two pieces(due to the size for shipping), 1 is the muffler and 2 is the Y. will i have any problems installing the whole exhaust system. Also, he was asking if i need the resonator(im a noob and have no idea what that is ) plz give me a brief explanation.
The other question is im looking to buy a type-S rear lip to fit the TLS muffler, however, do I have to repaint the rear lip from dealer since theres no type-S rear lip with the 05 gray color? and wut will the price be if its unpainted. any suggestion for the rear lip or have you since ppl done that?
sorry , last quick question, I live in NYC,Brooklyn. Planning to give a drop for the car. the car is about 60k miles now, should i go for the H&R,EIBACH? or pay more for A-spec suspension kit?

the new silver/grey is pretty close to the old... so the aspec wont be a problem

since you are in NYC I will tell you this much, have the seller cut the mufflers right after you don't need the Y... just need the mufflers, then hit me up and I will take you to a shop near me who will do it for like 80 bux

as for the drop... with that amount of miles your struts wont last much... so I would really suggest the neuspeed supercup kit with sport springs (contact excelerate about this package)

Best option for 20" is something made in japan... All the wheels you'll see that are 400 for all 4 won't clear... Generally

There is no specific offset to guarantee clearance, but usually 35 to 40 clears... If you do decide to get some inexpensive wheels, see if you can order just 1 single wheel, test fit and if it clears finish your order

Stillhere153, help me out Oh wheel expert haha

I found some MRR wheels HR4 to be exact that are 19"x8" but the offset is unknown. I found those wheels on some other site and they say that that size comes in 35mm offset. I am lowered 1.5" all around on progress springs so I was wondering if those wheels would fit and clear my brakes since I am 6mt? They are 150 km away from me so I dont want to drive there and find out that they don't fit.

will it fit correctly? will the Front Y part fit a non type S as well? coz it comes free from the muffler XD.

the place u mention b4 about installing the muffler.do they also trim and cut the rear bumper for me? do you kno anywhere who can cut and trim the 07 grille to fit a 05tl?

bro... this is why I said you are good since you live in nyc... bring a 6pack of coronas and we'll install the rear type s lip together... then we'll drive over to the muffler shop and they'll install the type s mufflers right on the existing exhaust... everythign is the same, the tubing is the same location everything I mean everything... JGuerra23 did this very thing last year...

the Y is the same on both... just get the mufflers alone then the shop I go to will do the rest for no more than $100

You can rock it no problem... Later on tho you'll likely want to throw a 10mm spacer on for the nice flush look

First you will have to custom paint it AM... Then you can get a set of ebay fogs for the accord sedan, throw those in behind the lip

You will not need the lower grills as the type s aspec deletes those

Why is it that the Axis Hiro in the same size and same offset 19X8.5 +45 you say clears the BBK and these do not?

axis made the axis hero to clear bbk so the backspacing on it is mega large

the spoked on the axis are even with the lip

I'm looking for a pair of Door Pillar covers like these:

What I don't want is the chrome-plating, just the covers that I can get color-matched. I will if I have to, but I'm really not in the mood to pay over 60 bux for the covers then have to pay to get the plating removed then painted. Know where to find some bare ones?

Stillhere153... what is the perimeter of our stock tires?
Just kidding bro. I had to bust your balls too for busting mine on my exhaust question. Anyway... I do have a wheel question. If running a 19"x8.5" +30 will a 245 work if I roll the fenders? Stock height for now BTW.
