^ you can install the 07/08 type s lip... it has been done, you will have to fiddle around w/ the fogs to make them work, you can also use accord sedan fogs (05 I believe), just without the the plastic covers

Rear tires are too wide
The wheels themselves fit, but w/ the correct tires
I'd run 235/30-20 front
And 255/30-20 rear
Might need to roll rear fenders either way
You can also fit the 07-08 Type S Lip Kit w/ minor mods

Do you still talk to egonz? i read the thread but i need specific tips on the mods he did for the vents to make the type s lip kit fit. Will putting in HID fogs be difficult? and also will it look good if i didn't add on the side skirts and rear end that goes with the type s kit?
thanks =]
thanks =]
there's some trimming required, nothing major... as for the fogs, they come with brackets, you can easily throw them in, hid fogs are easier to put in than standard halogen bulbs, the part thats tricky to some is the rellay with a switch near the "vsa" button... the accord kit for the 05 sedan comes with pretty much everything you need should you go that $60 route
if you have further questions feel free to pm

I'd like to know if the Enkei EKM3 18"x 8" +45 with 235/40ZR18 S Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus would clear. The suspension is stock.
And also which would fit the best the RonJon Legends 19" x 8" +32 or +48 with 235/40ZR19 S Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus again also stuck suspension.
Thanks again in advanced!
and would any of these require hub ring?

hey stillhere153, i want to add the side mirrors from the base 07, will those fit? Also is it more work to add the 07 fogs rather than going with the accord sedan fogs?

I have three questions:
I have winter tires off my G35 which is a staggered winter setup (235/50/17(rear), 225/50/17 (front)) fit my stock 17 inch Aluminum TL rims and would it be healthy for the car to do so?
If no,
If i purchase another pair of 235/50/17s or 225/50/17 (which pair would be better?) to get rid of the staggered fit, Would it fit my 2007 Acura TL with no problem, especially in the winter would it be fine?
Right now i have 235/45/17 stock tires on the car..
Third question:
Since the tires i had on my G35 were high performance winter tires (paid 1200$ for tires!!) and if i have to buy another pair of winter tires (if a staggered setup doesn't work) does it have to be the same kind of winter tires or can i pickup a pair of cheaper winter tires and mix em up?
Thanks so much in advance!!
Cheers.

the 50 sidewall is actually too big but like I said if it is temporary you can get away with it... ur speedometer will not be accurate though.. which isn't a major big deal around plus or minus 5mph at 60mph
ps dont mix and match tires from different brands you will end up with extra noise you dont need
your tires are too wide
235/40-18 on the x9.5
245/40-18 on the x10.5
roll and pull fenders and needs negative camber

Wheel Fitment
Vehicle: TL
Year: 2005
Trim: Base 5 A/T
Item you would like fitment verified:
17x8.5 +30 offset w/ 225/45/17 (if need be i can throw on my 235/45/17 tires)
Friend offered to me for cheap from his S2k. Same size front and rear. Is this possible? If so, will this be an issue if I lower the car?
