Well I'd rather not remove the bumper. I'd actually rather to install it and it take 30 min. to an hour and not remove a bunch of crap, if it means removing less things. So I can just pop the hood and install it without a lift or anything right? And should I sell my stock air intake?

Yeah sorry, depending on the wheel design it'll need a 10-15mm spacer

My suggestion to you, return it

No ones gonna buy the stock intake, if you install without removing the bumper you'll have to take the driver side wheel off, peel the fender liner and work on ur back

Removing the front bumper is a pita I know, but it does make the install easier

Ok so is there like a diagram of how to remove the bumper? And what else is there to remove besides the bumper? I am getting:

"Injen Cold Air RD Series Race Division Intake Systems, Polished, 04-08 UA6 TL (CARB 04 Only), 2007 TL Type S, RD1482P"

From heeltoe, will it be easy and nothing to it? Or do you have a recommended CAI thats better/easier to install.

I have 2007 style front bumper on my TL, I can't afford to spend the money and buy the Acura fog lamps: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-08...=p4506.c0.m245 will the Honda 1's work ?

Are they the same dimensions, oval shape?

There are only a handful of members w/ aftermarket seats...

If you're in the market for a bucket seat, stay away from ebay (fakes galore)

Year: 05
Model: TL
Trim: 5AT w/ NAV.
Color: ---
Item you would like fitment verified:

Current setup is 18x8.5 A-Specs with 245/40R18 tires, running on A-Spec suspension. Been thinking about purchasing a set of 19" Honda HFP 10 spokes. The specs for these rims are:

- 19"x8"
- 5 x 114 bolt pattern
- +55 offset

The 18x8.5 A-Specs are +45 offset. Since the HFP's are +55 offset, and 1/2 inch narrower, would the wheels looked "tucked in"?? Try to stay away from spacers if possible. What size of tires is recommended? The recommended tire size from Honda for the HFP is 235/35R19.

Also, would these wheels clear the Rotora BBK? I would assume so, but that +55 offset kinda worries me.

Thanks fitting guru!

Ok if you would like to stay away from a spacer... then pass on that wheel, if your car is equiped with a rotora bbk you will need no less than a 15mm spacer... not only for it to look good but for it to clear the brakes...

So basically if I go with the HFP wheels, I would need a 15mm spacer all around? and longer studs of course. Just to confirm!! Thanks again!

checkout ichibausa.com for a great hubcentric (64.1mm center bore) 15mm spacer

So fitting guru, I have another request of you...here it is:

I want to get ATLP J-Pipe Version 2, for all 3.2L and 3.5L 2004-2008 Acura TL and TL Type-S models, ES0004V2. I also want to get ATLP High-Flow Metallic Catalyst, for all 3.2L and 3.5L 2004-2008 Acura TL and TL Type-S models, ES0003HF. So will they work together? And how easy is it to install?

Thx

its a fairly easy install with jackstands and a creeper... you need 14mm deep socket.. and depending on the year of your car you may need a torche for those rusted up bolts... I used a 13mm deep socket and hammered on the rusted bolts... all of those get replaced

There probably is a diy but I'm sure it requires you to run a wire to the blinker... Search this has been discussed thoroughly

you put the torch against the bolts... when they start glowing red, then you put ur socket on them and they break loose

your rear tire will be flush with the quarter panel, you may want to get just your rear fenders rolled

Dear Guru
2005
New to Me
Manual
White
Car is not and will not be lowered
Current Set up: 18x7.5 et27 front
18x7.5 et37 rear
.....quite Doctored on by previous owner
Running 245/40/18 all around
I would like to put on:
1.) Advanti Racing A4 Kudos, 18x8 et40...have been told by every seller that these will fit over the front brakes.
or:
2.) MSR type 045 18x8 et35
I will maintain 245/40/18 with either wheel.

Thank you for you advise, Fulcrum.

The +35 would be a better bet in terms of clearance

I can bet the +40 will need atleast a 5mm spacer

Dear Guru,

Any opinions on the wheels ??

The Advanti look great in black and seem to be quality - 24lbs in 18 X 8 with a load rating of 1,700lbs.

MSR 045 are supposedly made in USA.

Thanks again, Fulcrum

if mesh and big brake clearance is what you want... I suggest you purchase a set of Enkei EKM3
