I still don't remember.

So what you're saying is that if I water at night, I'll get mold?

Spray, wipe, done.

I've done this for years. My paint has always been immaculate.
so, you are washing the car with soap and water and not relying on QD.

I think I'm going to keep using soap and a bucket of water to wash my car and then use QD for cleaning up bird shit and fingerprints and stuff.

Thanks for all the help J!

No man. Shrubs use way less. Ended up buying 15 bags. We had a shit ton of planting though. For the 4 trees sykv6 has, it'd be under 40 bucks. He has no need for 6 cubes. Neither did I. I probably used about 1.5 cubes, Max. What do I do with the rest?

I can explain how I did it.

First you get the blue bottle of Dawn, it's really soapy....forget lotion

Pull pants down. (you don't want to get soap on your pants)

Squirt it in your hand.

Take said hand and apply the hand to your penis

Move hand in a up and down motion

Debating on switching to Cricket. I can save $100 a month buy leaving VZW and going to Cricket. Honestly, I never talk on the phone so I'm pretty much paying $200 for 2 phones that are not used to talk on. Granted VZW has great service, but when the hell do I need service I don't go to the mountains or anything.

Ok so $10 x 15 = $150 for 150 gallons. Plus you mixed with topsoil? Let's forget that cost and time entirely.

1 cubic yard = ~202 gallons

If I went and picked up a cubic yard (that's an additional 52 gallons btw which I imagine more than makes up for your added top soil) of 60/20/20 mix at our local soil/mulch distributor it would be $36 plus tax. Throw in a few bags of Vermiculite if you want although entirely unnecessary with the compost. Let's aim high and say +$30.

That's $66.

Don't listen to me. I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Now for the QD discussion...

Straight from Meguiars...

"Quik Detailer keeps a waxed car looking "just waxed". Clear coat safe, Meguiar's Quik Detailer removes harmful contaminants before they damage your finish. Use Quik Detailer right after your car is sprayed by a water sprinkler, hit by a bird dropping, or exposed to any other condition that ruins your "just waxed" appearance. The safe, high lubricity formula lifts off dirt and grim without scratching while enhancing gloss without build up. Details a full sized car in less than 15 minutes!"
That's QD at that. Their Wash and Wax Quik Spray is even better for this purpose.

Not sure about you guys but day-to-day I have dust not dirt. Frankly I rarely encountered true 'dirt' on my vehicles. So it's no problem.

Actually that math is all wrong. You needed 300+ gallons. So let's call it $55 + verm...

word. Rains dirt here. Car lives outside like a whooped bitch 100% of the time. Shit gets all gritty, inevitably within 8 hours of washing.
