Did that guy actually insert the stick into his starfish? It sure looked like it, and then the embers hitting the taint and causing the inadvertent clenching which trapped it so that all of his down-under got roasted?

renting...
for now...might buy something to flip down the line, for now renting from fam. Bad idea but I was in a time pinch and I got a killer deal based on size and location. Zoe has a master suite and I have an open loft type area in the back. Good stuff.

Funny you ask...she does...
but there are kids involved and it felt like we were rushing a bit which would have stressed the building of the relationship.
So we agreed I'd lease for 6 months and see how things go. Plan is to move in in everything stays copacetic.

I realized that crashing there was different than living there with my stuff mostly in storage.

Ah okay...Sorry, for some reason, I thought you guys were together longer and hence, the move-in part. FWIW, I'm actually very much onboard with your idea to keep it slow...rushing into things just is not IMO, the best for you, your daughter, and obviously her side too. So, take it slow, really get to know the person and then make the decision from there. I would even extend it to 1-2 years...

Since when do people think they should get parts for super cheap because they don't think they will fit their application? I had a local guy offer me $10 for my Steering wheel because he didn't know if it would fit his mini van

Checked out the V90 Cross-Country and it was love at first sight.

Pricing it out is doable but I think I may take the $20K difference and go back to the A4 allroad now that the tech package has what I want. So, if you guys want slow, well, that'll be moi.



Still about 1.5 years out though.

FWIW, I went with my bro to san antone to pickup a pickup. Drove the pickup home (Tacomeh 4.0L V6)
Reaction / acceleration / handling was actually pretty good.. but compared to Caddy
Put me back into perspective
