He admitted on numerous occasions that he was broke. Just started working. No idea how he would've amassed 25-30k to buy a car. Unless he just says he's broke, but really, his idea of broke means only having 500k in his accounts.

On such a car, I would've just financed it at the longest/lowest rate possible, and proactively did everything possible to pay it off early.
