let's be honest- most people aren't modding their Acuras anymore.

There's the older car crowd- they still mod the likes 2Gs, 3Gs and 4G TLs... but man, the 2G and 3G platform is ooooooooooooooooold. And anything and everything that can be done, has been done a bajillion times. Limited aftermarket support. Cars have been handed down to young guys with little money, so they do simple mods and don't really venture out into doing something new. I remember Gus saying people would always be showing their TLs on Volks... these days they're on XXRs. Makes sense. Why would you spend 5k on wheels, for a car that's worth 5k.

I briefly looked at the TLX aftermarket support. It simply doesn't exist. The car has been out since 2014, I believe, and you can't even get an aftermarket RSB upgrade. It's a friggin spring steel bar. And no one bothers making it. You can get the typical exhaust mods like J-pipe and exhaust, but I don't think AZ will survive on just that. It's been done for 15 years now.

For newer Acuras, the majority of people either complain about the cars and/or brand, or do simple things like coilovers and wheels and exhaust. I imagine it gets tiring after awhile. AZ is dying because Acura isn't really offering anything to enthusiasts.
