Seeing the world opens you to new perspectives you've never even considered before. I agree with Just Joe.

Especially if you're doing it on the cheap and wanting to immerse yourself in the local culture. You can't get life experience like that anywhere else.

If you go back to school.. healthcare.. radiation tech, ultrasound tech, nursing.. starting at minimum, even contract should be 20/hr.. up to 40/hr with experience and the right connections. That's a job now though.
Don't do IT / Engr Tech.. if you want to go into engineering / comp sci.. go all the way. UH 4 year ABET accredited. yadda yadda. It's no joke though, that's a real commitment, you will be challenged.
