I heard a documentary on the radio yesterday, about skyrocketing rental prices in SF, being impacted by Silicon Valley. One bedroom pads going for 3000, two bedroom pads going for 4000. People being evicted if they were one day late on paying rent, so that the landlord could get them out and jack prices again.

traffic reform here is impossible. People too set in their ways, and police always saying that you're going to crash, burn and die even at 110km/h.

ontario is even worse. I believe all their highway speed limits are 100km/h, and the cops there strictly enforce that. Burrshit

Highway 2 is like the Indy 500...guaranteed if it's a pickup. I've been doing 135km/h before and still got tailgated by guess what? Giant pickup. And yeah, 25 over the posted speed, you'd think that's fast enough. Nope.
