She asked for it, said she wasn't happy...maybe seeing someone else. I pleaded for a while but her actions pushed me past the point of no return...I ended up filing...in the interim, I met J and everyone lives happily ever after. Z is well taken care of...half custody, half equity in house...closing is in a few weeks for the sale. Life goes one, I presume.

Sorry it did not work out and obviously, the challenges for your little girl. Still, sometimes parents stopping from loving each other does not mean they cannot raise a great kid together...so, all the best there.

I mean it's completely over and I'll zipit-STFU...but, is it possible that Betty just did not get over baby blues? It's just nuts to rip it all up after getting that place (all the renovations!) and having a kid recently.
I know some women do get emotionally different post-partem and I wonder if she has some form of it?

Eh? Maybe I was asleep in pre-med and knowing what my sis and a couple of buddies went through. But, if you are going through Gen Surj, you STICK to it...Internal medicine is a completely different program. You need to drop out of Gen Surj...and THEN, apply to get into the internal med program. Just saying that your description of your friend's program does not make sense to me.
