Highway 2 is like the Indy 500...guaranteed if it's a pickup. I've been doing 135km/h before and still got tailgated by guess what? Giant pickup. And yeah, 25 over the posted speed, you'd think that's fast enough. Nope.

My bro just finished med school.. he switched up.. already had a masters in EE. He gets his residency placement in about two weeks.
His past 4 years has been quite the journey.. pretty much welfare with two kids and a wife.. father passed.. driving a shit car in Texas with no A/C.
I really hope his struggles bear fruit soon. Crazy thing is, his wife is PhD in CivE. With the kids, couldn't work, pretty much tied down because he was so focused with school.
Plus one of his kiddos has had medical issues, and he keeps having to fight with uni insurance. Family is on medicaid now.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to him making some skrilla. His wife too.. I think things are going to be in stark contrast.

Sister is starting her fellowship in Toronto in a couple months in internal med...gastrointestinal. So, she'll be studying

I think he's doing internal medicine. He did top of his class on the MLE step 1, so he's a strong candidate for any surgical residency.
He really liked general surgery and was going for that, but he has a degenerative eye condition. It's treatable, but he didn't want to be halfway through his residency and get fucked over by his eyes.
His main interest is specializing in something that he can clock in and clock out with regular hours for a good work balance and decent pay
The real specialty is derma like doc rick. They tell all new students that if you want to get into derma, tell advisors right away. Super fucking competitive. And well... you know how Rick fairs.. shiettt.
My buddy's father was a family doctor, his practice is still open. My buddies younger brother is also in med school (1 year behind). He might follow in his pops footsteps, just to keep the family business going.
Family business is in Hawaii too.. soo.... surf, make decent money, life could be worse.

My sis is finishing nurse practitioner.. she already makes bank. She's moving up, not for better pay, but for more options.
She'd like to have her own patients and work at a small practice. Probably in pediatrics. Her specialty now is pulmonary.
