thats exactly why I dont mess with them backyard guys man. last time I tried that my car ended up being dented lol and the work is always well suspicious. Id much rather just chill with a friend and take our time

Gave my car to the guy this morning (who turns out to work at the same hospital as me), took him all day for the TB job, looking at dashcam he worked until 6:30pm when he got the car at 9:30am, said he had issues with the crank pulley bolt (no shit).
Pick the car up, give him the money (350$ for work on TB, tensioner, pulley, thermostat spark plugs), he hands me my old parts and my brand new thermostat saying he didn't install it because he got caught by darkness and he work in his driveway instead of his garage cause his garage is full of junk.... WTF man?
Have to go there next week, weather permits, for him to put the thermostat in, after arguing with him that I wasn't happy about the situation and he should give some of my money back and I'd put the thermostat in myself. He kept saying "ok 330 the, ok 320 then" and so forth.
Fucking christ.
Edit: Oh and now I have more vibration, which might be motor mount shot (fair enough) or who the fuck knows. Nice.

$350/9=$38 bucks an hour when going rate is normally $115 or more?
Damn, I mean, I'm sure you were agitated but you even watched him work (I'm assuming you didn't tell him?)..he worked all day...he gives you your old parts and you complained?
Shiet, I would have taken grease right in front of you and put it on the thermostat and said there...it's all done, got it all done.

I don't have any bacon and the one car is at the shop still being finish for the heads/cam/intake/header-back-exhaust install and tune. I'll buy a pack of bacon and throw it on that car when she returns.

Painting calipers...fuck, I miss those days...if the silver wasn't so good on the V...I'd probably paint them burnt orange like I had on the TL.

Thinking yellow for the TL too, thought blue but I think yellow might look better with the Chromium Black XXR 530's I plan on putting on.

Im still eating shit sandwiches and placed an order from a new place today. While I was mentally preparing for a double shit with a side of loose stools, it ended up only being a grilled feces on sourdough.
So I'm like 50% still wound up but 50% relieved. And like 60% tipsy. Also 100% done with this semester (woo hoo, no finals required!).
So dont take anything I say seriously. I'm hardly ever serious, and not to be trusted.

I saw a S5 today. It was black with the Ahhhdi rings on the grille painted red. Red badges on the back, and red trim along the side underbody.
No clue if it had the sport diff and the guy driving it had his phone up to his ear the whole time and didn't notice me gesturing to him trying to find out.
Also, has the Tesla become the new shitstain, can't use a turnsignal, I'm so vain, asshat mobile that used to be BMW? Because it sure seems this way.
But funny thing about that, even though they're better than me, they still give a pretty wide berth when the Road Warrior PigRunner shows no fear towards their feeble lithium fire waiting to happen when they merge like assholes. I mean, maybe if there were some way they could *indicate* their intentions, I wouldn't need to passive aggressively almost roll over them.
