It's supposed to start raining here today. I waxed the paint on the TL in 30* temps in my garage in preparation for snow my family was experiencing in Chicago and now it's only going to rain.

I suppose the snow staying at bay a bit longer in the season isn't a bad thing (and neither is having prepped paint for the season) but my hands weren't too stoked!

Anyways, back to programming...

But srsly, it did go well but man it was super technical about radiation and what not which they know the fresh graduates from the college are not trained in so they know what theyre getting or else they wouldnt have called me for an interview.

I did however do a lot of research prior so I think I impressed them with certain technical wording and responses. Only time will tell as further testing will be required to chosen candidates to further narrow it down. This will consist of a technical test, a math test and a 5 min presentation on radiation policies and safety. Im good at public speaking so Im hoping I can get that fat so I can impress them lol

Do you guys think I should send a thank you letter to the HR interviewer lady?

Yes...usually within 5 minutes after the interview followed by a question like "are your tits real?" so that they know you were really interested in them as a company too.

good luck Jefe...step one. Done.

A simple thank you email to the HR rep you've been working with is customary and old fashioned (I tend to do this regardless).

If you do write one, make it brief and to the point. Best of luck!

what about if I only have the email of the lady who contacted me for the interview and not the lady who actually interviewed me. Would I send it to the first lady and get her to forward it??

In an ideal world you would've gotten a business card from the lady you interviewed with.

Given you situation you would just address the email to the lady who's email address you do have and mention to pass along your appreciation to the other lady you interviewed with as well.

Look out for the asian girls stealing jerbs. They're everywhere.

that's why you get her name and ask her for her email address at the end when they say "any questions?"

and/or stalk her on LinkedIn and send her a thank you /follow request.

Don't see an edit button for my post made at 12:17 and it's only 12:21 now?

I'm working on making an intro/build thread in the Photography section tonight.

Favorite salad dressing? I'll compete for being the most American here and say Ranch.

#humblebragtuesday
#notsohumble

I interviewed with a company.. interviewed with their top design, component apps, VP, and product owners.
Interviewing manager, gave me a big handshake as we left the building and said job was mine.. they'll call me with the deets.
I've never had that happen before. I've since been on the other side, and there's tons of candidates that we filter, then round-table before hiring.
Must have hit all the marks.. design guru was critiquing my resume for fluff too.. I ain't no fluffer bruh.. I'm primetime.

Anyways, I called other job I interviewed with and was like, I have an offer.. need to know if I'm your guy and if you can match.. called me back within hours.. we'll pay you more!
Shiettt ese.. it was a good choice because the other company, while very good, sitting on a lot of cash, had a product that was phasing away.. took a big hit in the stock market in the following quarter.
I probably would have survived that hit.. but who knows how much longer. Otherwise the crew there were super cool, but I knew they faced challenges and the other company had a good road map.
Ask those questions in the interview to know what you're stepping in.. not.. I need to buy weed, which requires money, so do I get the job?

Anyways.. I beat out (off) my broski for that job. He had more experience, better education, and knew the hiring manager from a previous job too.
It was the interview.. if you can interview well, you can make it anywhere cuhhh... my broski got another job at some slaveship but he makes good bonus.
Welp.. that's it.. If you guys want some fucking interview advice, go ahead and sit on my black couch.

Don't be afraid to press the situation too, get that hiring managers digits. Then week later..
Hey, Bob.. how's it hanging (long and low)..
I know I would be a great addition to your team. I won't let you down cuhh..
If not, I appreciate the opportunity and your time..
let's hit up that titty bar anyways.. yours truly, fuccboi

What you didn't read was.. call job, tell them you have another offer if you don't, bc they might tell you to fuck off
(might have chosen you or another, but since you have options, chose the other).

Not sure why it's not there, using Chrome - is that an issue?

Ranch is good, so is raspberry vinaigrette.

Agh, sarcasm is so hard to portray over the internet. I knew it was a joke, thank you!

From my last car the Acura community is far far more accepting and welcoming in comparison.

Surprisingly no! I had a Genesis Coupe before this and it started out as a great community but it quickly diminished as the values of the cars plummeted and the Civic owners started picking them up.

The community quickly turned into a pissing match on any thread/question posted and if you were new you were treated as an outsider.

But now, between here and the Corvette forums, these communities are great! Lots of knowledge and an active forum base with helpful and understanding folks.

My Genesis was copper if that's close enough for you? Lol

Taking yourself seriously on the internet is for people that have a inferiority complex. lol

I hated the copper color at first but it quickly grew on me. When I went looking for a C6Z I wanted a Atomic Orange but couldn't find a good one so I ended up with a yellow one. I have plans to wrap it white to match the TL and have an all white garage.
