Ahh.. another Ohioan ehh... out with old, in with the new?
Who else is from Ohio here?
Kinda out with the old in with the new. More like get rid of the plummeting value car (that car's value just kept tanking and tanking) and get a daily.
Only to find a screaming deal on a true performance car (that's the only reason I have the Z06, if I didn't find the deal I did I'd be a one car man with the TL).
My Genesis was copper if that's close enough for you? Lol
Taking yourself seriously on the internet is for people that have a inferiority complex. lol
I hated the copper color at first but it quickly grew on me. When I went looking for a C6Z I wanted a Atomic Orange but couldn't find a good one so I ended up with a yellow one. I have plans to wrap it white to match the TL and have an all white garage.
Those wheels look authentic! @JRF
I had blaze orange metallic on my RSX...similar and sexy!

Also, I have a yellow S2000 now.
I'm Joe, nice to meet you!
edit: all white garage huh?
reported for racism
Those are real wheels, good eye! Very rare SSR GP-0 Evolution's - I was the only car aside from an older 300ZX running these wheels that I could ever find on the internet. I rebuilt them and made them look like new! I just can't do the 3 piece wheel game anymore, it's a pain in the butt.
Hey Joe! Name's Matt, S2Ks are supposed to be amazing cars, I always liked them.
LOL...
yes sir...
inside jokes also are the real wheels thing, and I'm Jeremy but got called Joe by a recent troll and it stuck
yeah, very fun car...in twisties!
my other ride is a 5 door vette...
Your other ride is my ideal/crack pipe dream daily. Maybe one day. More than likely I'll move on to a second gen V sedan for daily use in several years but we'll see.
Those V wagons are rare as all get out, I'm really jealous! Auto or manual?
I'll race your 5 door vette for pinks when my car's done in the shop.
Fine...first 1/8th to home depot, load up 3 sheets of plywood, then last 1/8th!
Damn...right in the heart...
Thanks, man...
Funny but I was going to "settle" on a sedan, which I could have gotten 6MT and recaro and not black...
but I got a killer deal and wanted the wagon more so I compromised with the fact that a daily in south florida isn't bad in auto, base seats are comfy and black is mean looking.

Races don't include trips to Home Depot, that's blasphemy.
My ideal sedan would be 6MT, recaros, and in the sapphire blue (rare beyond all get out).
A wagon is the best, and if it is your daily the auto is the right choice. I could've gotten a 180K mile 6 speed '05 TL instead of my 104K mile 5AT '04 TL but knew auto for a daily was a better choice. You are a smart man, Joe.
Nice taste, man!
Yeah, 6MT in Thunder Grey or White Diamond were my faves...or that mocha color...SUPER rare too.
I had TL's for almost 8 years...6MT...wife was tired of not being able to drive my car if we ever took her car anywhere...after driving an auto F150 for work and not being stressed in rain and bumper to bumper...I realized that an auto is a nice stress free change...if I feel like rowing it's pretty cool to have one of the best shifters ever made in the S2K.
If only it existed! (... And I had the funds for something like that...)
The Grey, and White Diamond are super nice too, the mocha I've seen ONE of; that's it.
I think manual is best suited for a second car if you have one. Always keep an auto so the woman (or man) in your life can drive it if they don't know how to drive manual. I love just cruising to work in the TL, it's fantastic and extremely quiet and comfortable for as old of a vehicle as it is. I do need to replace the suspension as the shocks are shot at 114K miles but that's just an excuse for coils and wheels.
You have the automatic transmission advantage though!
That is one tits Genny.. it's funny because your description is the same description I'd give this cesspool.. bunch of civic H-T queers here now (not queer like gender queer, but suck down a bag of dicks queers)..
Oh btw I moderate this joint..
This is our hideout joint.. I'm guessing the glory holes attracted you.
I'm Matt, the other guy is Joe, the other other guy is fuck Joe, the guy that posted before the other post is Joe as well.. and that one guy last page is also Matt.

FuckJoe checking in. I was going to say that same thing vis-a-vis Genesis/Civic -> TL/Civic...
Fuckin new guy. Jumps right into raspberry vinaigrette for tossing some salads. This ain't his first rodeo, I bet he knows his way around a ballsack or two.
Welcome to the ass end of the internet. Where shit's always freshest.
I often wonder if the shit is the freshest at the top of your 23 miles of intestines, or once it makes it's exit. Seems like once it gets exposed to air it dries out and loses that freshness real quick.
Gave my car to the guy this morning (who turns out to work at the same hospital as me), took him all day for the TB job, looking at dashcam he worked until 6:30pm when he got the car at 9:30am, said he had issues with the crank pulley bolt (no shit).
Pick the car up, give him the money (350$ for work on TB, tensioner, pulley, thermostat spark plugs), he hands me my old parts and my brand new thermostat saying he didn't install it because he got caught by darkness and he work in his driveway instead of his garage cause his garage is full of junk.... WTF man?
Have to go there next week, weather permits, for him to put the thermostat in, after arguing with him that I wasn't happy about the situation and he should give some of my money back and I'd put the thermostat in myself. He kept saying "ok 330 the, ok 320 then" and so forth.
Fucking christ.
Edit: Oh and now I have more vibration, which might be motor mount shot (fair enough) or who the fuck knows. Nice.
