The recaro's in the V... are they pretty basic seats? Or do they have the same functions the stock V seats have (heat, power sliding, cooling)?
Most often, they seem pretty basic. Yeah they fit nice, but I know looking at the Mustang or the 370, the recaros lose all options and yet they are SUPER expensive. From the stealership, a single replacement seat is 4k
The 370 has the side air bag built into the seat, but it has no other options. In the mustang, the stock seats were heated/cooled/power adjusting and again the recaros had none of that.

I thought the GTR had heated recaros... or maybe it was another car... dang, I don't remember. Not sure if power or manual adjusting.

In the V the recaro actually pick up features...
heating and cooling and 14 way adjustment and bragging rights
Base are
more comfortable, 6 way adjustable IIRC, heating only...same leather/suede insert though.
Yeah and most people are trying to sell for $3-5K if they came out of a crashed one, you still need the AC module and then if it isnt same year and wagon to wagon, might have to troubleshoot wiring on 6 harnesses to get all functionality out of them.

brah.. the reggo seats in the caddy might as well be bench seats. I have to actively plant myself.
I'm always pushing into the center console or door panel when hittin dem corners at speed.
I will say, the TL seats, other than being wrapped in rat leather, were really a nice mix of comfort and support.

Just take the stock seats to an uhpolstery shop and have them embroider "Regato" on them for you. Now it looks like you have authentic upgraded premium seats.

But the Z ain't no slouch..
I think we did 3 rolls, 3 digs, and 2 laps around an industrial park. /csb
One lap she got the outside because tractor trailer was on the inside..
When she hit the corner, she had oversteer, the magneride was on rails.
Was like..

I just crossed paths with the guy yesterday
He had some new wheels on it.. it looked pretty sharp.

Joe, I agree on the seats, but ever since I put on weight I really sink into them base seats and they hold me real good! 
Honestly, I was overthinking it initially...I mean if I were searching again I'd go for one WITH them...but to have the headache, and the squeaks that come with recaro at a cost of $2000 or more...
