You've echoed my thoughts exactly.

There was a time when it could make sense to go FI... But now it's a 14 year old platform. Why dump that much money into a car that isn't worth as much as the investment needed to go FI, doesn't net the greatest results (unless you're rich), and wasn't known to be reliable (unless you're very rich). At that point, you can choose MUCH better platforms with MUCH better aftermarket support and MUCH more knowledge on going FI in general.

I totally agree, I only said supercharger as its just another option for him. But yea fuck doing all that to a TL.

Gus seemed to have fairly good success with his 04 WDP though!

Gus' setup is fairly new.. and he is a master tech..

After thinking about it, the best way to go, is buy a vehicle already boosted from factory. That why it's tuned and done 100% right with warranty. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to say don't do it. It's nice to be one of the few that have it and the amount of attention you get is priceless. The power gains vary based on the extras done. You do get the most amount of HP/TQ gains in by doing a supercharger vs intake, exhaust, ect. I've had the TL since 2007, and plan on keep it for a long time still. I did it so I can enjoy it and want to enjoy it. I wasn't chasing numbers with the blower.

You live once, so if you're interested in doing this make sure your TL is up to the task of going force induction. Like always maintenance over mods 1st. There's a lot of valuable threads made by some OG members about the supercharger. I would read up as much as possible before pulling the trigger. As for the roof, it's vinyl wrapped. There was a thread I made a few years back about vinyl wrapping the roof. It was a pretty popular thread. This is my 2nd wrap on the roof. The vinyl will start showing wear and need replacing at the 2 year mark. I'm almost due for another replacement and just because the vinyl has a lot of swirls.

Kali senses something isn't the same for sure, she was moping around a ton (the way Annie did when Sunny died).
She was sitting outside refusing to come in staring at the sky...crazy.

J.. when I put one of my dogs down, I let the other(s) see our pup at peace.
Some get depressed (or not ), it's closure.
I'll still say stuff like.. go get (pup's name) to see if they still remember.. they do.

Yeah, I brought the shirt I was wearing and hugging Annie with home and took it off and let the girls smell it.
Cleaned up her bowl and put it away...gave them a little extra love yesterday too.

Don't be shy about your dog's names...we all know you named one Peter Pan and the other one Jiff.

I had a good time with that gun and my cuzzo's GTI on sunday...installed some H&R springs. I'm surprised at how nimble and fun that little 2.0T is to drive...handles great, feels solid, seats hug you real good...Damn nice.

we did springs, washed and waxed it and my bud sanded and 2k cleared his headlights. car looks like a new car.

i called a local recommendation from Travis (NBP Baller) and the dude says $85 an hour labor. so gonna price it out and see how it compares to the other shop i was using. i might just use him for valve adjustment at least.

i really wanna send the wife and kiddos to grandmas in houston for a week and just potter around on the car....mid life crisis i guess....turning 35 will do that! lol! just kidding, id miss my family too much! after 1 day id be like screw it, go buy a ton of hotwheels and drive to Houston!
