If somebody hits you.. your insurance may not even fight on your behalf.
They're happy to say it's 50/50 even if you have proof.
Usually there's a common breakdown of fault, they just keep it rollin'.

Another angle of that proctologist's boo boo.

Now, I'm not saying I would, but I'm also not saying I wouldn't, take a few sucker punches at that character if I had been right there and were forced to grab my kids and run. That could have gone World Star real quick.

So after 3.5 years of waiting, and now pretty much overnight... my work commute went from 24-30 minutes... to 8 minutes. Still working at the same place. Still living at the same place.

I'm shedding a tear right now for how happy I am

Adam got a toll road?? that must be nice. love short commutes.

And 20 years plus however old he was when we adopted him (2 or 3 the vet thought) and he had a blast chasing mice and birds and other animals, and 3 different houses all with major roads, im surprised he lasted as long as he did! but he was an awesome cat....now he fertilizes the tree in my parents yard! and the circle of life continues...

They FINALLY finished a ring road that circles around the entire city... 26 years in the making (planning, acquiring land, construction...)

The final phase opened on Saturday afternoon, after taking 3.5 years to build. They broke the entire ring road down into 3 phases, I believe, which took about 13 years to construct it all. This last phase had something close to 30 overpasses they had to construct. The sad thing is, the city is already expanding on to the other side of the ring road... there is plans to build an even bigger ring road, but man, I bet that won't be done for another 40-50 years. I think the one they just finished is 50-60 miles long... the bigger one would easily double that in size.

working with a lot of state departments the current infrastructures being installed were drafted up 15 years ago and they have admitted they cant ever get the proposed work to match the actual population expansions happening so it will be a never ending process of completing one thing just for it to immediately become dated and require the next phase to be embarked upon. kinda like those dude who start painting the golden gate bridge and by the time they are done they have to go right back and begin again....tedious in my opinion...

It's hard to sell the general public on an idea, if it isn't currently required. If 35 years ago, the gubbermint said "you know, we think it's wise to spend X billion dollars on a ring road that will see limited use until the city catches up", you likely won't get much buy in from the general public. It's not until people start getting frustrated before stuff like this moves forward. Then take into account how many years of land acquisition need to occur first (everyone seems to think *their* parcel of land is worth eleventy trillion, and then negotiating, drafting agreements, redrafting agreements because something changes, etc., etc.), and then actual construction time lines and something that was officially needed 20 years ago, ends up taking 26 years to complete
