This. This is what bothers me about society. Everyone wants to keep up with the Jones' so they buy expensive shit. But when it comes time to maintain it, they skimp out or just completely neglect it because they're too fucking poor.

That's still an "average" car, in my mind. Anything under 30k can likely be afforded by most people. It's once you start breaking into the 45+ range where I think you're getting into the upper class. Granted, lots of new vehicles can break the 40k mark, but keep an eye out on how many of them are kept up to date with maintenance.
