Busy at work too man.
Also found a glitch in my Android game bot that I made emulating taps and shit so I got some of my riches stolen. a 3000 pts worth gem (takes like 24 hours to build one like this) and like $60000 out of $100000. /suicide
(I might be too involved in that game )

I hate games like those. And it seems the majority of phone games are like that.
"Wait 24hrs to gain one jewel, or buy 10 NOW for only $5.99!"
"Minimum of 426 jewels required to advance to next level"

Also found a place local that I can get Redline fluid from.
D4 or racing + D4 mix is now my next decision. I might be able to do that this weekend. Not sure if I'll buy $200 of ATF right now though, since I plan on doing the 3x3 in like 1000km intervals or something.

Hey I'll need a whole 9 quarts for a 3x3 and I want to buy some spare so I don't have to reorder for my 4th drain and fill (which will happen eventually). Amazon prices the quart at ~$18.
Didn't get the price from the local place yet, gonna have to call them.

If it's oem fluid, I wouldn't call it cheap stuff. That shit has likely lasted in your car this long. What's another fraction of what your car has done to date?

Well, when I say cheap sh*t, I don't mean advance auto parts brake fluid in your tranny...I mean the more reasonably priced stuff...
I know that there's a percentage thing...and I'm totally ballparking the numbers
First one changes like 78% of the fluid
Second one makes it so there's 89% new fluid
Last one is 99% new fluid.
I think the fact that it's NEW fluid matters most...so, since you're dumping the stuff anyway after the first 2 ...use the cheaper oem auto fluid, then use the pricey stuff after. Or maybe I'm wrong...maybe the good stuff should go in first.
Swapping to new fluid, no matter which one...before tranny is cooked, and doing all the other switch/filter maintenance I think is more important than what trendy hipster fluid you do end up putting in there.
That's like saying astroglide is better than ky. I can tell you...I've used both and they both taste the same.

I figured most won't read through the entire car related serious post to get the special surprise I left at the end.
But you did Frantz. Cause you're educated...you have to be to help us all with our financial decisions.

I've been around long enough to know there's usually a gem hidden within any one of your posts. Prize at the bottom of the cereal box, if you will.
First piece of financial advice for the day: Invest in Wilson Auto Parts and Apexi Neos.

I mean my tranny has thus far been very behaved, albeit it does not like the cold much. The 3x3 and switches are preventative maintenance for me as I'm sure the switches have never been changed, and I'm not sure on when the last ATF change was.

Tires confirmed for delivery Thursday, hopefully I like the DWs as much as you do J - how's the tread life on them?
I also gotta go hunt for a place to rent a fender roller somewhere today after work. I figured I'd rather rent one and do it myself because shops want 200$ to roll all 4 corners here...

LOL...he was running 530's for a SHORT period of time as his winter wheels and still had his Work wheels! His car is awesome. Ebelp is John, not Jon
In my honest opinion...pay to have it rolled by someone with experience. I am still learning and I've likely done 6 cars, MY TL being the test and I didn't do that one perfectly.
