Yeah...when my wife and I tried it a few years back in Vegas (near Fashion Mall), it was actually outstanding. The selection of fish was outstanding and it was well prepared and fresh.

The SD location was, sadly, not as good. But, I guess the big take-away was I met the peeps and we all had a nice time.

Strangely, the Japanese food in SD was not outstanding. Of all places, we enjoyed the Crab Shack and BBQ joints (i.e. Phil's) the best.

LA and Seattle have much better/fresher raw fish I think... Van city is probably phenomenal as well for obvious reasons.. I'm surprised about SD though.. I swore I went to a few places that weren't bad
