Have any of you suckas ever replaced an oil pan? Besides being incredibly messy, is it difficult?
I think I may have to do it on the Sonata. I think the drain plug is slowly leaking still, and I think it's because I may have over tightened it. Sigh.
I know I'll have to replace the oil pan gasket, along with the oil pan, but is that it? Is it just the 20 bolts that have to be removed and the pan dropped?

Assuming you get clear access to the pan and don't need to drop a crossmember or something ridiculous.

PB courtesy of FB translate: Accident of char last night, I'm not hurt and no one else was "involved". Someone to cut 2 Lanes (right to left) on decarie southbound at the height of the turnoff for the 720. I put on the brakes and turn to not let me get in there and I managed to avoid it but The maneuver sent me waltzed right into the turnoff... Luckily it wasn't concrete blocks or even barrels, but a kind of ramp in concrete. So I did a mini jump evil knievel / Dukes of hazard before falling back on the road, I'm glad the airbags didn't deploy (because it surprises in crime) but the underside of my car to used slide on Concrete so it's not great.
