Yeah, I think carproof is Canadian. We have carfax here also. I've heard it's best to check both, just to be sure. As for describing the damage, or repairs, I know for one thing is they always put the cost of repair down. As for anything else, it's up in the air.

I want to verify what the cost of damages was, and if I can maybe track down who the previous owners are to see what actually happened to the car.

Did you list them already? I asked you the price and you never said it..

Also would the 15's in the front and 20's in the back work with these wheels?

Sorry, my lion hunting expedition took longer than expected, because I had some problems landing the helicopter on my yacht...

OK, that's a lie. I've been gone because my good buddy had to drop off his RLX-SH at the dealership so that he could get a new battery installed in his key fob and they wouldn't give him a new NSX as a loaner for a week. I mean, he does deserve it.

I ended up going out of my way with the helicopter, after lion hunting, and gave him a lift back to his place.

fuggit. I'm giving up on that NSX. Sales guy is being a total wiener. I text him this morning asking where the hell the car reports are, and he starts barking back at me saying he sent them last night. I say "I never received anything" and he doesn't reply. 156% there's something bad in that report. I wonder if the car has a salvage title now. I wouldn't be surprised with a 40+k repair bill.

I gotta stop looking at these cheap priced cars. Yes, 50k is a lot of money, but it's cheap with respect to an NA2 NSX. Same with that Type S I found last week... fogetaboutit.

You know what's crazy about that? Just 4 years ago you could get a good clean NSX for 30K on the forums. I used to just sit and watch and dream. I was too broke back then but now when I can afford to do it, the prices have skyrocketed. Damn them for making a new model..

I know. I remember when they were helluva lot cheaper, but I was a broke university student. A 15k car at the time was out of question.

Now I'm a broke engineer, with a credit card and a bank willing to give me money, for some odd reason.

when you asked about carbon fiber, was it in reference to the center console trim, Walter?

Walt, there's a guy on AZ that was making CF overlays for the interior pieces. I got a quote from him because it looked superb, but it wasn't cheap by any means. I think to do the silver horizontal strips and the faux CF center console pieces would have come out to like 6-700 bucks. Too rich for my blood. But it looked really good.

yes and the trim that runs along the doors (where the user 1&2 buttons are) and above the glove box. The lighter gray trim. I'm looking to fix that cos whatever is on there now, I can peel with my fingernail with minimal effort

I considered making the CF pieces myself... But then I got lazy. And didn't feel like learning. Or spending money. Or putting effort in.

It was a good attempt.

I actually haven't gotten anything back for close to four years now. Before, I was able to claim my tuition, or Wifey's tuition, so I was guaranteed to get anywhere from 2500-3200 per year. These days I generally owe like 150/year
