Nice. I think about 15 of us just made our way down to the local watering hole. Nothing crazy, but at least they had cheap pints of beer

Did you have a Budweiser? Only Budweiser has that refreshing crisp taste you have come to know and love. Whether you've just gotten home from work or won the superbowl, celebrate life with the cool, familiar taste of Budweiser. And while you're at it, have a Budweiser. Nothing washes down Budweiser like Budweiser.
did I say it enough times?..do I get my money now?

The actual Super Bowl game wasn't that great. You didn't miss much. Lots of missed plays. Lots of falling. I don't think either QB threw a TD pass.

Day off...took Little Cha to the Allergist today and did a food challenge (baked good WITH dairy)...Huge milestone, the little guy can take in dairy in a cooked format!
Next step is probably in a few months and try another food challenge of cheese on a baked good...but, for now, we can start incorporating milk into the muffins we make him.
Still can't drink straight cow-milk...but, inching closer.

Going to go look at an NSX right now.
2005, silver with black interior, 6MT, 36,000km. Asking $69k.
Apparently it's at a dealership and it's been sitting there for 6 months. Kind of talked to wifey about it. She's not thrilled about the idea, but she also didn't say no
If I ditched the Miata, I'd have a size able down payment for it...

Oh its all good man, I think I have like 3 local buyers right now all clamoring over them. Considering I bought them for 1000$ canadian, as long as I get even 900$ back I'll be rather happy, and it will be a big help for me

I was looking over the car and a guy just happened to be parking his truck, coming back from lunch and he came to talk to me about it. They took it in on trade and paid (apparently) 60k for it. Their ad online is asking 69k for it.
But what I didn't know and what he told me is that the car was hit. The repair bill was 44k From what I could tell, all the VIN tags were in place, save for the passenger front fender, front bumper and hood. They are though, OEM Honda pieces, which is nice. The repair work looks to be top notch. Serious, I can scrutinize the shit out of repairs and I only noticed one little issue with this car, which I'm willing to bet 99.9% of people wouldn't even notice.
It's sitting on Advan wheels, which I don't particularly like. It also has a Comptech exhaust. Interior is all stock, save for the shift knob. The passenger seat looks all good. The driver's seat has some minor bolster wear (the bolsters are notorious for wearing in these cars).
It has 36,000 MILES, not KM. It is an american car, as pretty much all NA2s in Canada are original from down south.
Bottom line- he said because it has been sitting for so long, they would be willing to let it go for 50k even That is a STEAL of a price for a 2005 NA2. I could put 20k down on this and then finance the rest...
I just don't know how I feel about the previous damage. I mean, it was a huge repair bill, but, NSX OEM parts are SUPER expensive. Is it worth it? Would you pay 50k for a previously wrecked NSX?

so that's 36k miles and 36k dollars.
Do it, bro...
How you feel about it? Every car has a story, man...I used to be hellbent on NO body work etc...now I realize that when you're in the market for a particular vehicle, the key is finding one that has had GOOD work done to it. That said, that's gorgeous...love the color, love the fact that it's 2005 and modern looking. You already know you could lower it, clean it up, wax it and probably flip it for 50K US dollars.
and about you not liking the wheels...LOL...although they're RS-D, which I don't love as much either.

I used to be the same way as you, J. I would avoid any car with a history, but, like you, I've come to realize that's not always realistic. With minor damage that was properly repaired, I wouldn't really care. But a 44k damage history? I would just be worried that if I had to sell it, I might be stuck with it for 6 months also. I think it would cause a lot of buyers to move on.
