I love the way they drive. So tiny and nimble. But my forehead sticks out way above the windshield... Lol

The only thing I've never liked about Miata's is as soon as you own one it's like doing Cross Fit. It's all you talk about. The Mi life takes over.

Although I don't get that impression from Taco. So good for you man. Lol

Wifey and I volunteered at the food bank on Saturday. When she first moved here to go to school, she ended up being broke as fuck and relying on the food bank a bit. We've been meaning for years to volunteer, but for some reason never did. Lots of hurting families here these days with oil prices shitting the bed. We feel pretty lucky to be where we are so we figured we'd help out a few days a week.

Das cool. I used to do a lot of community service growing up in HS and college.. I do it once in a while now through my company but haven't just gone out on my own and done it though..
I thoroughly loved and enjoyed going to do all those community service events. Food banks, shelters, etc etc..

One thing I've noticed in society is that it's those that used to not have much/don't have much that tend to be much more generous and giving than those that have it all (and can afford to help).

Very decent of you guys.

While many there are many victims of circumstances over in that region while high-ranking executives continue to pull in 6-digits while farting out "uplifting" and "go-team" e-mails/memos, I do need to wonder why people don't save for a rainy day?

When times are good, people are spending like gazillionaires and building giant 3000+ square feet estate homes in that area. And oh right, BMWs, Lexus, Mercedes...you name it. Did they think the money would never run out? Seriously...when I read about Alberta's destitute, a part of me has to wonder WTF were these bozos doing with their $$$...? Anyone hear of savings? Investment? Heck...even RRSPs...?

If Maj were here, he'd talk about his free community service that he offers: Tossed salads or something using his pee-pee with oil-related.

It's crazy, Yum. Some people have been unemployed for 6+ months now though. People have a hard time cutting back spending because once you get used to a lifestyle, you don't want to give it up. So if they spend 5k a month on mortgage, vehicles, maintenance, food, bills, entertainment, etc, burning 30k in six months is crazy. Obviously ridiculous and everyone knows oil goes up and down. It's like every 10 years. But they ignore it. I bet you 5k/month is pretty conservative also. I'm sure 10 or 15k/month isn't unheard of.

I was in Calgary recently on a recruitment trip...and boy, is it a buyer's market.

But, as I was rolling through the city, I passed through a very VERY nice area. Dude, Calgarians are loaded...and well, times were great living off oil money. I hope they can survive the leaner times now.

I might have stumbled on Rockyboy

Guy Accidentally Exposes Cheating Wife After Bragging About Hookup On Snapchat To Friends ? DudeComedy

The night of the date came. We meet at a bar near the college campus. I brought 2 of my friends just in case and they were sitting in a separate booth near the bar area. To all of our surprises the REAL GIRL FROM THE PICTURES WALKED IN! She was a 10/10 again out of my league.

The date was going well I didn’t bother asking about why she was a ghost on Google. It was getting late, I asked her if she wanted to get some dessert, she told me this is a one time thing. I was a little confused but understood she was smoking hot and i’m a 7.5 on my best night.

I'm good with my tiny spacers. I only need to replace three studs. I'm pretty sure the tech in Jersey mashed my lugs on and fuxed them up. I've been rocking my winter wheels with only 4 of the 5 lugs and I had to force two of those on. Lol

I'd give some lube and a thread chaser a shot...I've repaired some pretty mangled threads with that. Buy a 27MM socket to go with it, makes it easier.

Gus...has to be him. Or maybe his brother.

I started out reading that article like

As soon as I saw the 10/10 and 7.5 I burst out laughing. Rockyboy came to mind. I should post it in ramblings with a NSFW warning.
