The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Part 2)
This is why I don't fucks with lowering car anymore. You change the whole dynamics of the drivetrain. I'll post a DIY after. It's not a big deal.. just need room to work.

no doubt...he's only half kidding by the way. he has like 30 of them...
Maj, sounds good, man...thanks for sharing, I'd love to learn.
Yeah, I know but honestly, sitting where I am, I've been trouble free for the following 5 and a half years.

House mods are great, man. Thanks for asking.
Lately, wired up the fan for the garage to a switch, installed a new kitchen sink, installed some laser car parking things to tell you when to stop...still have a ton of things, finally received the 2 professional epoxy kits for the garage...that's gonna be awesome.
I'm beat!
AND losing weight!

I got a full shaft for you right here.
Hey Frantz.. what do you think is the right strategy in terms of looming interest rates coming back up. I hear chatter that the market is going to self-correct in a big way. I'm thinking of buying commodities or saving cash to capitalize on the crash. Heck.. might just buy ammo, water filters, PPEs and MREs.
Morning all
Just missed the edit window
Don't be afraid to look at some mutual funds/ETFs either. Think international/emerging markets. I wouldn't bet the house there but when the domestic market usually starts to "correct itself", international stuff gets a little boost.

Good morning,
it's coming along nicely...I'm at the point of hanging things on the walls, including TV's...trying to figure out the best way to mount on concrete block with the empty space the 1" furring strips create for the drywall...everything else is great though, in love with the new neighborhood!

Trust me with other peoples monies.. hmmm... :thief:
Thanks Frantz..

Big time, Justin...not just that, but neighbors are awesome, already had 2 welcome parties for us and a few other noobs in the area. Right near the highway, walking distance to Publix...close to nature.
You'll see next time you visit.

Just dont run redlights or use the toll way.
Thinking of buying a '07 Mazda Miata GT equipped with the factory power retractable hard top, oem performance package, Cosworth supercharger package, LSD, Weds wheels, and a whole slew of other very expensive and tasteful mods...
The last five cars I've owned have all been Honda products. I feel like I'd be cheating on Honda.

And while I grew up a Honda fanboi, I'm sorry...the Honda that we know today is light-years behind the Honda we grew up drooling over.
I have zero brand loyalty. To anything.
I mean, I have my preferences since these manufacturers (e.g. Hugo Boss, Canali, Bandai, Sony, Samsung) continue to make products that appeal to me, but if an alternative comes along that's just as good and is cheaper? Hell yeah.

It belongs to a guy I work with and we're talking about potentially setting up a deal. I'd buy it now but then it's just going to sit under a tarp for 5 months. This guy is incredibly anal about his cars and the car is immaculate. I thought I was anal about my cars- this guy puts me to shame, lol
Buying a "fun only" car never makes financial sense, lol. I was going to buy another rental property but figured I need to have some fun. I wouldn't buy it until the spring anyway, since it's supposed to start snowing here next week

Anyhow...what I meant was, if you can afford it, get it. The difference with you and say, Justin recently with that retro-car was well, he's trying to buy his first place...so, doesn't really make sense...
In your case, if you can hack it. Do it. Life's short enough as it is.
Dafuq @ snow next week...

do it...do it now...
put snow tires on...
do it.
I've heard a few including Tommy Salami say that they have more control and fun in the Miata (he just sold his S for one)...I still think you'd be more likely to break neck to look at a honda, but you got a supercharger to make up for it.
