The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread

If they did analyze the fluid, it would only be if the fluid was the suspect in the failure and it would be from a starting point of the fluid contains "X", now what was added or broke down to cause the result. Analyzing something to find out what it is, starting from an unknown, is very expensive. It all gets pumped into a bulk tank and sold for recycling. My company buys it!!
:what:
Oh and by the way. I did not get Redline racing F. It is Valvoline Type F.

I fall asleep on the shitter at times as well.

I don't mind IHC. I just don't care for his holier than thou attitude. I am NOT friends with him on FB!!! He recommends the generic off the shelf type f as a Hail Mary. I went with a name brand and a little of it. I may not use it.
I just did the drain. It netted about 2.8 quarts as expected. This shit looked and smelled horrible. The magnet on the plug had, in my experience, the appropriate amount of steel material for a 131,000 mile trans. Dow the dilemma. DW1 or type f?

I leave work in 3 hours....if you can wait, I can take a pic....mine is out in the open because of a smaller battery and other weight loss items....
but it should be right under the fuse box and on top of the battery....a huge 3/4 bolt (if i reckon right) and it says ATF on top

What the fuck is that thing sticking out of your fill bolt Wacky Tacky?.. follow the tube. Looks like you're refilling through the dipstick tube.
Chapter Leader (Southern Region)
I'm guessing inline filter.. or feed from heater / banjo fitting to side filter.
:what:
Ok.....so Im not retarded...Thank you Majofo.. That was the first thing I looked at and said...."WTF is the tube? That must not be it...." I guess I was wrong.....Off to figure out a way to fill through the fill tube...F.U.C.K.
Chapter Leader (Southern Region)
Depending on what it is.. might be easier to fill than usual.
