So who has ever got tired of their 3g and think about selling? and why?

 

Plan to keep my TL for 10 years and more.

 

I want a KBP Type-S 6-speed but can't justify getting rid of my car. I'll just save my pennies for a AP2 S2000.

I sold my '05 TL within a year and a half of purchase. I liked it but there was something about the interior that felt claustrophobic and I still can't rationalize it. And this is coming from a guy who feels at home in a submarine. The overly stiff suspension that had very little 'give' and rattles bugged me too. Had the '07/'08 TL been my vehicle, I almost certainly would have kept it much longer.

 

AP2's have torque (sort of) and a more forgiving suspension

i have...at times. just too many little issues with the car.

 

Not necessarily tired, I do still enjoy it. But, the platform just isn't quick enough for me anymore.

I want something with at least 400whp & the money to get this car there isn't worth it compared to a better suited platform.

once, but realized there was nothing out there i really liked to replace it. so i started modding a few things and have fallen in love with my car all over again. i'm in for the long haul with my TL.

I've only had my 3G since March '11, and the only thing I'd really get rid of it for would be to get a '12 TL with a 6MT, or even settle for a 3G Type S with a 6MT that isn't ASM/WDP/NBP.

realistically though, I plan on gettin either a JDM-front Teg or an S2K in the next 4-5 months. then I'll have 3 pedals again in an enjoyable "weekend" car and a nice daily in my TL.
