I think part of this issue we all keep happening is due to the system runs an android version that released in 2015. It runs android 5.1.1 for the infotainment os. And it is also running a really old arm processor. Is a dual core 1.5/2ghz and 2gb of memory. It was known for memory leak and locking crashing issues when was on phones etc. I’m guessing since it’s trying to run multiple systems at once it locks up. Especially during CarPlay or android auto stuff, let alone other things. Since they are more intensive. Is also why the start up is so long. The only real fix is updated hardware. I had an android head unit in my jeep that would do the same things. After a year of issues the manufacturer went to 4gb of memory from 2gb and after swapping to that I didn’t have anymore issues like locking up or freezing.

I agree, not only is the Jacinto 6 an SoC that dates back to 2014, but it wasn't even top shelf back then. Acura could have gone with the Tegra 4 that Audi did, but opted to use the cheaper solution that has half the number of cores and less adoption. Case of getting what you paid for.

Fixed.
Took it in 3hrs later, they reset electricals and its fine
The rep said they suspect the Amplifier being the cause but advised if it happens again, they know what to do.
