Issue w/ MID (Multi Information Display)

Just picked up my 2019 RDX Advance and I'm having an issue w/ the MID. On my previous 5 MDX's, including my current 2017, the MID stays set on the screen it is left on meaning when I restart the truck, it's on the same screen as when I shut it off.
Well, not my new RDX! Everytime I start it, the MID is on the odometer screen. Is there a setting that I'm not aware of that keeps it on the screen it's on when shut off?
Thanks so much for any assistance you can provide!

On mine, it does stay at the last view screen. I just tried this by setting the screen to navigation (compass) and after returning to the car, it started at navigation screen.

How long were you away from the car? I've done the same thing and it 'remembers' for a short period but will eventually return to the default.

I only tested this by turning off the engine and turned it back on in about 10 seconds. I will try a longer period later. Thanks!

That's exactly what mine does. If you shut it down, then start it back up it remembers, but let it sit awhile before restarting it does not.

When it is off for a while, it goes to sleep.

Well, it changed back to the trip meter screen after engine off for 14 hours.
