Remote wire follow up question & help request - LC2i + Amp remote wire

Hi everyone, referencing a couple super helpful LC2i + Amp install postsI was curious if anyone has found any reliable wire we can tap for a remote wire to the LC2i & subsequesntly to the amp.

I finally (after 5+ years of thinking about it) got around to taking the car apart, running wire and installing an LC2i + Amp to my old JL Audio 10w3v3-2 thats been sitting around for years, and when using the GTO on the LC2i, to me, it seems that it just takes way to long to shut off after parking the car. I realize this is because of all the things that happen simply by unlocking and opening the door, etc, but surely there has to be some ACC wire somewhere that works more like a traditional remote wire similar to what we have in aftermarket head units. Thanks again and below is a list of my install for reference.

I see that Funz51 used the purple wire next to the fuse box under the dash, but also mentioned there is about a 5 minute delay in shut off...I would also like to avoid running a switch if at all possible.

INSTALL:
  • 8 gauge OFC power cable - 50A fuse at battery to distribution block in rear
  • 8 gauge to amp (MXT3002) + 16 gauge to LC2i with in line 1A fuse
  • Tapped the sub wire at the sub (after all the processing) to the input of the LC2i
  • Remote out of LC2i to remote in of amp
I think thats all the pertinent info. All the other loose ends are complete (grounds, RCAs, etc). If this works out I will most likely upgrade the amp to something newer/better.

Thanks in advance if anyone can offer any insight, I appreciate everyone who participates in these forums that have been immensely helpful over the years
