Remote wire help??

Hey guys,

I know that there's a post for this already but I had looked all over for it and it seems like I can only go to the last 5 pages. Well the question is where can I splice the remote wire to my aftermarket amp from my factory amp? Which wire I ment on the factory amp.

Thanks and sorry to post this again..

I would not recommend pulling from the Factory Amp Remote signal.

Instead run directly into the fuse box in the driver side kick panel. I think fuse spot #32 is empty... I believe thats the one that I plugged into. I think its 7.5amp

If you want your amp to turn on ONLY when your radio is on the red and yellow wire Pin B7 on your amp is the factory AMP ON signal.

i used the "add-a-fuse" method. went to the fuse panel, took out the fuse for the ignition AC (radio, bluetooth etc.) and added an add-a-fuse module and tapped the remote wire into there. works like a charm

what if there's already something in fuse 32? There's a 7.5 fuse in there already and I am not sure what it's used for. Any other plug I can plug into?

i just took the wire and stripped off some of the shielding and then pulled the fuse and placed the wire inside where the fuse sits and then put the fuse back in...its that easy. oh but make sure you only put it on one side of the fuse contacts!!
