I have a 2005 Non-navi TL and am looking to add an oem navigation system. I have seen the diy links on this site, I have read that the 2007-2008 navigation is better, but I can't find any details. I contacted Martin at acurahondatech@comcast.net and he told me that the Navigation system from a 2007-2008 would fit. Martin did not know the differences between the 2004-2006 system and the 2007-2008. Does anyone know what the differences are?

 

Newer GUI, (slightly) higher resolution display, and real-time traffic with the navigation. If the price difference isn't absurdly huge, I'd opt for the '07+

 

Thank you for the information - the 07-08 navigation is $300 more than the 2004-2006.
