Remote wire for AMP

I cant seem to get any power to my AMP. I checked the power/ground/rca's...everything checked out. Since I think it's the remote wire coming out of the back of the head unit. How would I run a seperate remote wire for the AMP? ne1??!?! thanks

before you do that, did you check the amps fuse(s) and the inline fuse on the power wire?
