Unhappy Mitigation and ACC system problem

Hey all,

I just got a 2019 RDX 2 month ago and already having issues. It pulled up a Lane Mitigation system problem and ACC System problem. I went to the dealership and they said there found moisture in the Collison Mitigation Unit, so now I have to get it replaced.

Is this a common Acura problem or..? It's kind of concerning that I chose this car because you hear about "reliability" but then 2 months in my cars going to be in service for 2 weeks....

What are your thoughts.

First I've heard of this problem. Could be a one-off supplier problem.

Does that mean it'll be a consistent issue? I raised hell at the dealership and they're over night shipping the part lol.

Hard to say since yours is the first instance I've seen mentioned. My bet at this point would be just a bad unit received from a supplier - it happens.

That's making me feel a little better..
I'm just freaking out because this happened mid driving and the car starting shaking like crazy from it for a few seconds, and then my breaks are squeaking as if it's a car that's from the 50s lol.
it only has 1k miles on it.

They sounded confident however that it's just bad sealing on the radar unit and that I shouldnt have a problem moving forward.

That's what happens when everything is computer controlled and then the computer gets bad data to work with, or just starts to hiccup.
