I'd like to run just half of that... and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be saying it's no fun

Isn't the CTE SC's boost much less than 16 lbs? For me to install something like that and say it ain't fun....

CTE is like 5 psi, but a positive displacement supercharger.

It makes the engine behave as if it has a larger amount of displacement.

.6 liters per rotation of the impellers.

Turbo actually compresses air. Very different, both have their merits.

So do both OE 02 sensors have to be working in order to adjust A/F on the fly during normal driving?

Or can I have one 02 sensor turned off and replaced with an aftermarket wideband sensor(running to a gauge in my cabin) and the 2nd 02 sensor on and connected to my ECU?

The OE sensor must always be there

We signed all rights of intellectual property over to the company who we designed it for.. we had no control of what he did with it.

Still feels shitty though...

That looks just like yours Joe
I have all the parts to finish my catch can from the valve cover to the turbo intake pipe, then I'm going to do another one from the pcv valve port to the intake manifold using the bigger mishimoto catch can
But I have been busy building a turbo system with my son (UTAH TYPE-S) on his 2007 TL TYPE-S so my parts just sit there

I am going through the motions with vit now. on tune 4.

I am setup with the ebc at 10%, but the boost can is not the low boost can. the boost gauge shoots up to 9.8 and then the flashing yellow lights go bonkers because I set the alarm at 11. I think I'm going to have to alter that to like 12 or 13.

Utah - How much work would it be to get the cold side of the boost pipe to the TB to meet up with factory manifold? I have been considering going back to the factory manifold.

I keep getting this code: Acura code p2270 Intake Air System Leak

Any suggestions?

Are you running RBC manifold?

Im sure the inlets are somewhat close.. Cant you use those rubber elbows to connect the pipes?

Why haven't you posted pictures in a build thread? I wanna see your boost gauges too!

For the boost canister back off the adjustment as far as you can and see how much boost that will give you,(I know theres not much thread left for adjustment)
I also had that code come up and I checked all of DTC error boxes in the misc. section for cold start detection and maf cirruit and it stopped throwing that code

WELLL HOW DOES THE BOOST FEEL ???????????

Utah - question, how will unchecking things like that in the dtc area affect me being able to get everything to go ready for emissions?

I am trying to at the same time, tune everything, while keeping my eyes on the horizon and emissions being due in December 2015.

Worst case scenario, I remove the turbo, and down pipe, and replace the factory primary and secondary cat with the factory air box.

However, I would like to be able to just wire the IWG open, swap factory injectors, and factory tune and go pass emissions.

Another thing that I was thinking of, will the emissions system pass with the MAF disabled, using the MAP for fueling?

If this isn't possible, then things will go worst case scenario.

As for the boost, even for it being rich as all get out, and no ignition timing, as soon as you open the throttle it's like a hand just shoves the car forward.

the threads are all the way backed out. I have no more to back out. So I'll have to change the aem boost gauge alarm threshold. and the BPV does make noise, more than I thought it would be, which is kind of cool. Just enough that the occupants in the car can hear it.

Hopefully Thursday I'll get an exhaust started on it. That's the goal.

For emissions test they look at 1-converter working you have that 2-oxygen sensors primary and secondary working you have that 3-EVAP system funcion you have that 4-no DTC's, with the boxes checked only for sytems that are not being monitored it should get ready and pass the test, we have 16 months to figure it out so just have fun with the boost for now and watch the dead birds falling out of the trees from your exhaust fumes as you drive by.

I'm in Boston right now. When I get home I'll take a few pics.

I think we need someone to sponsor me for brakes and wheels. That's all I'm really short on.

Optimus, what did you end up doing to get everything (rear mount) to fit? Do you have any pictures?

We took a small portion out of one of the lateral supports on the mount.

I do have some pictures floating around.

Let me consolidate everything, and I'll include all the heart breaking pictures, and the work in progress that it now is.

Been working on a few things, I had a Ingalls torque damper off a 2010 civic si so I modified it and made it work on the TSX and wow it really helped the wheel hop and engine movement, and I finally have all the stuff I need to finish my oil catch can, will finish it this week

Nice! I considered that when I thought maybe engine movement was causing my shifting problem. How much modification was needed to make the damper kit fit?

The top bracket I was able to cut a little off and drill one hole, the bottom bracket I cut off part of it and welded it to the sub frame not to hard took about 45 minutes
