I would say maybe buying the SE Lip might be easier if you want that style for your rear, then you just have to paint a small portion PWP and you get the same look. AND you wouldn't have to cut a new bumper, just the $100 lip.

Thanks Joe. I've seen that part on a couple of cars.. it doesn't look as clean. I know it's not a huge difference... but I'm pretty OCD :P

Yeah I agree those things don't look as clean. Best thing to do is get the full bumper and repaint but that's a lot of $$$

Yeah Exactly why I'm hoping to find the bumper already painted the correct colour. Plus, painting it locally will also mean that the bumper's colour might be mismatched with the rest of the car.

Just make sure the shop paint matches for fade and should come out fine.. Good shops compensate for fade

Could we get that part in carbon fiber?

As an update... it is slow... my mechanic ended up going down for major surgery... it's been.... "trying" is how I would describe it.

I am truly hoping this is worth it when it is all done.

This is the last time I will "pioneer" anything. I have always swam upstream, but this not having my car for 2 months now is fing ridiculous.

I'm going to stick with slightly older cars from here on our.

Should have expected this honestly, being one of the first.
I think it will be worth it overall, with the turbo + LSD... fun car for sure.

But then again, you could have modified an older Impreza or WRX and gotten similar power... so it's all choice I guess.

He's out, but now he's got to get everything lined up for shop time etc....

The car has a coating of dirt on it. It's rough to see it that way, so I just stopped going down to see it.

OH MYYYY... I would be afraid to even run beside you!

You would blow all of our N/A setups to pieces if we tried to take you. Looks sooo mean behind that sports bumper. Super Jelly.

We completed our end of the research.. Now it's up to our sponsor to go through with financing the production of the can. Here are some of the prints/pictures/renderings/videos of our final presented Catch Can. We've got evidence via flow simulation to support our claim that our Can is 4X more effective at filtering 1micron particles than one of the competitors (Elite Engineering Catch Can). It a pretty unique design.

Check out some of the prints/photos/renderings/videos of our final presentation.

So, most of the pipes are put on, it is finally coming together.

Ordered some special banjo style fittings for the water cooling of the turbo, and a DEI lava rock t4 turbo blanket.

The pictures are promising, I may need a larger silicone hose from the charge pipe to the TB, it seems real tight, but we're going to try it before blowing another 50 dollars on a hump hose.

utah - question, if I want to run another wideband, like what you are running, do I just place another bung before the catalyst, correct? Any particular distance required?

Also, I sent the parts needed as 2 45* 3" bends, 2 90* 3" bends, and 5 feet of SS pipe, that sound about right, correct?

The adapter that goes on the throttle body is tight, the next size up was to loose and wasen't very smooth it got bigger then squished down to the throttle body

That will work if you only use one muffler, if two mufflers used you will need 4 90* 3" bends

Yes you can put a sensor right in front of the converter

Are you going to use a AEM tru boost for boost controll ?

Oh man getting excited when do you think it will be up and running

I got the same aem gauge / three port boost controller like you got. I may call you to help set it up and get me up and running. I know we block one of the ports with that cork piece, and only use the two.

I am open to suggestions, you do this for a living. This is just a hobby for me, so I would rather do it the right way the first time, and enjoy the car for. Then go onto brakes, and just have a fun cruiser to take the family for ice cream, or whatever.

I too am getting excited.

So, due to time constraints, I am going to forgo the zdx tb, and just use the tsx tb.

Did you need a retune with vit?

Also, for the silicone I bought the size recommended, but it would not fit over the tb...

It will with it mounted to the throttle body and a little brake cleaner to make it sluppery and a hot silicone fitting heat with heat gun
