How to pause ipod play?

Hi - I am the new owner of 2011 TSX with the Tech Package. I plugged my IPOD into the USB interface, hit the AUX button and started playing a track. However, I can't figure out how to pause the play - probably something simple but thought I would ask anyways. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have not found a way to pause iPod or Disc sources. Bluetooth audio menu shows a resume/pause but it does not do anything when playing music from my iPhone.

This seems like an odd audio control to leave out. But it does not seem to be anywhere.

I don't have an iphone so I don't know if this will work, but to "pause" music from AUX (usb drive), I just press the power button, since there is no pause feature on the radio.

In regards to the usb to ipod connection, if you turn off the engine, does it automatically turn off the ipod too or do you have to do it manually?

I think there is no pause button in our cars.

I always push power button when I want to pause.

I was trying to do this today while ripping some CD's. I wanted to pause the disc in the hopes that it would rip just a bit quicker.

It's kind of infuriating that there's no stop or pause button for discs/iPod.

Why should I have to Power Off to pause?

While not giving you a button on the Radio... if you are using an iPod Touch or iPhone:
  1. Jailbreak
  2. Install NoAccessorySplash
  3. Press pause on the iPod/iPhone

Also, if you have Apple IOS5 or 5.1 and were previously using NoAccessorySplash to remove the "Accessory Connected" screen while either using BlueTooth Audio (HandsFreeLink) or the Dock Connector you will want to uninstall the old tweak, add this repo (http://beta.leimobile.com/repo/) and search for NoAccSplash.

Tested and working @ 01/08/2012
If you're using the Dock Connector (USB) and kill power (shut the car off) the iPod/iPhone will pause playback. Annoyingly, opening the door will power it on and (I'm pretty sure) resume playback.

If anyone has found a way to stop or disable the Audio portion of the Bluetooth pairing I would love to know about it.

The iPhone insists on using whichever was the second connection made, be it BT or USB for audio output. I'd like to force USB, but still have it paired for Phone/Data usage.
