one more question..
will it be possible to install a kill switch to the amplifies?
i know the remote wire does than when the car is off.
but if i want to turn it off when the car is on.
would i install it to the power wire? or to the remote wire?

PAC sells some good inline converters.

I would just use the same wires coming off the stock sub and wire it in parallel. As for kill switch, i would just get a switch that looks like the VSA button and mount it right in one of those empty spots. The remote wire is a 12 volt signal wire that you can get off your fuse box and run it through that switch and then to your amp. Simple on / off
i will be using one of those loc from the stock sub to the amp but any idea which one will i need? theres soo many variety. i dont know which one i will need. any suggestions?

ok so i installed the amp and sub.
i ran the wires to the amp. power from the battery and remote from a fuse in the footwell. i used the sunroof fuse so when the car is off the amp will shutoff. and the ground to a bolt in the trunk.
the amp was working until i installed the loc. the amp seems to go into safemode. but how? i got no idea it just wont work. any ideas on what may have gone wrong?

Good stuff. Do u have the model number of the amp and line in converter available? might just be a setting issue. Or maybe you plugged your RCA's into the the preamp out of your amp instead of the input channel... just an idea. i'm sure your smarter than that
