This is for a different thing (not the screen). I don't know how to tap into the canbus though

I have been... the city was boring imo (too touristy..) but it was fun to just drive around and see stuff. You HAVE to try the shrimp trucks cause they are amazing.
Also did a volcano tour where you can go right up to the lava (but it's like a 2 hr hike). that was fun also.

also going to pearl harbor was pretty cool

Here's my pic of the lava (im about a foot away from it)

I'm sure if you search hard enough on the internet you'll find what you need.

Generally when I am working on computer (like my desktop) related work I search for the supplier that makes the particular component I am working on. Those computer/electrical engineers like to use the same system architecture for as many projects as they CAN... if you know what I mean.

I was there for honeymoon back in 2002. Spent 5 days on Oahu, then 5 days on Maui. Both were beautiful, but quite different from each other. Oahu was way busier.

Depending on where you stay, they may have small tours where they pick you up from the hotel and take you around. We ended up going on one and were pretty much gone for the day. Hiked in some very cool spots, checked out Punchbowl crater, went Boogie boarding at Sherwood Forest in Waimanalo. Grabbed an awesome lunch in a paper bag at some side of the road food truck. Dropped us right back off at the hotel.

You could always ask the front desk at the hotel. I'm sure they have all sort of stuff going on.

We did a luau at Paradise Cove, which was OK. I wouldn't do it again. Awesome sunset there though.

I did Pearl Harbor, which was very interesting. Also checked out the Missouri which was right there.

Ended up taking a road trip to the North Shore, as I have some relatives in Haleiwa. The beach was very cool up there. You basically sink in the sand when you walk. The sand it so ridiculously soft. I guess 40-50 foot waves pounding will do that. When we were there in June, the waves were less than 1 ft.

Waikiki sand seems sharp, almost like its cutting your feet. It's weird, you'll see what I mean.

When you are on the North Shore, you gotta to get shave ice at Matsumoto's. It's just so damn good.

I wanted to hike Diamond Head, but we didn't have time. Some have said it was worth it, others said it wasn't.

While on Maui, we took a helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian. I think they also have them going from Oahu. If so, I would recommend it.

One thing I really miss from Hawaii is the fresh pineapple. Nothing here even comes close.

As an aside story, the wife and I met this couple on Maui where the husband got sun poisoning and ended up in the hospital for three days and in bed for the next three. He was kayaking for an hour. That's it. My only advice is to sunblock the crap out of yourself! The sun is no joke out there. Don't be that guy!

I went to Honolulu 2 summers ago. We stayed on Waikiki beach. It was pretty touristy there but we ended up driving around the perimeter of the entire island while we were there. We went to diamond head, checked out some awesome food trucks, attempted to surf, and went to the dole pineapple plantation.

I saw an Acura CSX this week at the Buffalo airport. Guess it came across the border from . I didn't know that was a thing but it sort of makes the ILX make more sense to me now.

Pretty cool story, huh!

Yeah the CSX (FD2) shares almost the exact same chassis as the FA5 Civic Sedan. Many do an FA5 to FD2 conversion for that JDM kick (as the Civic in Japan at the time was actually an FD2 and not an FA5). But yeah their similarities make the CSX almost redundant.

Do you plan on going with any higher strength internals with the S/C, or will you be fine with stock internals? I always hear with people going forced induction on platoforms that other things need to be upgraded. No idea how this sorta stuff affects other parts. I know the CT Engineering S/C runs at 6 psi, so I'm guessing 12 psi is putting more stress on the engine? I know on us autotragics our trans would be the weakest part, but I guess you don't have to deal with that.

Boost probably high cuz of the stage 2 belt and WOT no? I think he laid off WOT for a good few months since Vit told him to fix his shit right?

Yeah stage 2 pulley, and aftercooler. Before last night basically my logs were showing that my boost was reaching ~9.5psi @4500rpm then steadily decreasing to about 4psi @7000rpm. So he told me to fix the belt slip issue before I ran another log. So fast forward three months and I fixed the belt slip and pretty much logged my first WOT pull with no slippage and hit 11.8psi.

The boost curve looks pretty linear to me, but VIT said I shouldn't be hitting max boost so quickly (5500 rpm) and suggested I delete my secondary CAT before I do another run. He also mentioned that my aftercooler from MERC was too weak for this setup, but at the moment I'm not so convinced that my cooler is inadequate (maybe less efficient than others), but inadequate...*shrug*. I know VIT makes a good product, and I also know he has seen some of MERCs less than satisfactory work, but I think the cooler, core/pump setup I have should be alright. Especially since I don't plan to ever track this vehicle or do many consecutive WOT pulls in a short amount of time.

I prolly should have posted this in my own thread, but oh well haha. Time to find an exhaust shop to weld my resonator in place of my second CAT.

What size tires would you guys recommend on 19x9.5 +20 wheels? They currently have 225/35/19 or 225/30 don't really remember. 2 are brand new but 2 need to be replaced.

So.. stretched rubber band tires. Yuck.

I have 245/40 on my 8.5 wide wheels.

He cannot run that wide of a tire. Look at the specs.. 9.5 +20. Not gonna fit without a stretch.
