If I wanted to reduce brake feel and improve braking, would it be better to upgrade to better Rotors or Brake pads first? I know rotors have more to do with cooling and pads themselves more with the actual braking, but rotors look cooler.

its cold in houston, all season tire compounds lose traction very easy under 40 degrees.
pads + rotors help with INITIAL bite, but stopping distances is ALL tires.
with pads there will be a trade off. you can gain initial bite with a carbon race pad, like one from EBC...
but you will get NOISE, DUST, and other side effects from a carbon based pad.
i use a ceramic pad which has low noise, low dust but trades off with initial bite. however; my tires do all the stopping.
you're correct with a blank rotor will do the same as a drilled/slotted rotor.
also, you may look into steel brake lines....as the rubber brake lines expand under pressure(braking) and heat.

You mean improve brake feel?
Pads will make you stop better.
Rotors will make you look better.
Braided lines will make the brakes feel better.

that also confirms that you were engaging ABS, or that gritty feeling you were feeling when you were braking.

I got to meet/take a picture with the gas monkey garage guys from the show "Fast N Loud" last night at a work function. Never seen the show but they were cool guys.

When was the last time your brake fluid was changed? Like full flush changed?
If it's been a while, it might be worthwhile to get that done in case there is some moisture in the lines that is freezing and blocking the flow.
Or, maybe, move to Arizona or South Florida (lawl) and get out of the uninhabitable northeast...

The brakes work after pumping the pedal hard several times.. I don't know if there is air in there or fluid or what.
I'm going to change it soon anyways, along with trans fluid, oil, squeaky ass pulley, brake pads.. few other things. Just waiting for it to get warmer. It's way too cold.

Air would make it squishy and the pedal would feel "soft". Water could freeze and make the pedal feel "hard", i.e. it don't move.
If it works after pumping you're either moving frozen chunk out of the way or aerating the liquid so it's got many little bubbles instead of one big one. Air in the lines would give the soft pedal feel after it's sat a while and the bubbles get a chance to re-collect into one big bubble.

I agree with cu2wagon. You need to flush your brake fluid.

My wipers are frozen to the windshield. Now I know why people leave them up.

Will change it for sure. Hurry up warm weather.....

However, when you get back to your car and put them down. Do NOT turn your wipers on immediately. Scrape the ice off first! Many people forget this and then they ruin the rubber on the wiper inserts. For this very reason alone many people will actually argue it's better to not leave the wipers up, so that this can be avoided. I like to leave the wipers up and scrape the ice to get the best of both worlds; not frozen and likely still usable wipers after you scrape the ice off.

^^ yeah i kind of didn't do that and now my wipers don't do shit... oh well. the inserts are like 5 bucks.

Me too my wipers suck.. I was looking out a 1sq foot windshield space of non frozen area while driving. It was annoying.

looks like it will cost more than the cte. and it dosen't come w/ injectors? does it use the stock ones?
Prob have to upgrade to rbc manifold too

I've heard mixed things about the kw setups. They're apparently not very reliable on the 9th gen civics, and people have already blown their motors. Of course, this could be due anything from an improper tune to an amateur civic driver. I don't know if the kw is the cause... but just an initial impression.
If you need AC, choose a different option?
RBC/RRC mani shouldn't be a deal breaker. It's a great upgrade especially after tuning the car.

Does know where to watch or see a live blog of the pirelli world challenge? RealTime did some competitive times with the TLX GT, beat quite a few Lamborghini and Astons.

Rear wheel well area of the LMP1 GTR.
RSB is connected to some hose that likely contains high pressured fluid to keep the rear stiff
Shocks are small
Giant air duct on the left

With the ct eaton/roots kit there is no need to rbc bcuz the blower unit replaces the stock manifold, this is some cost savings there.. I've also heard of guys running snail blowers for years and thousands of miles on all types of cars (hondas included) with lil to no problems.. But regardless with more power comes more problems no matter what the setup.

It seems like no one boosts these TSX's... erryone seems more worried about mugen bumpers, euro headlights and bagged suspensions

Cuz most people don't wanna spend $5-7k to save 2 seconds while accelerating to 70mph on the freeway on their way to work. And would rather look cool in that extra 2 seconds.
