window visor tape

well i got a set of window visors, and need to know what double sided tape people used.

did u guys use the thicker 3m tape, or specialty tape like for emblems and stuff...the thin stuff.....i dont wanna go out and buy the wrong tape, especially the thick stuff, cuz im not sure if it will make the visor stick out from the door sill rather then be flush....

but the 3m tape sticks damn well and they may make a thinner version of it idk (no visors for me though)

I used the 3M Super Heavy Duty tape from the Home Depot.. and at first I thought they were freakin thick as heck and big.. but it's really not.. once you peel away the red layer from both sides.. it'll look thinner already. Used these for my Weathertech visors and they work really well.

Here's a pic of the tape I used:

Oh yeah... and another great thing about this tape is that its really easy to cut to the shape you want (around the edges of your visors). I can slide my visors in real easy even with the mounting tape on.

use the thin roll... eliminates cutting and comes in handy A LOT more then you think.

I use 3m tape for mines. Cut it if it's too wide.
