I know a penny in the cigarrette lighter can cause the fuse to blow if its on the same circut. So that could be it.

First thing you do is disconnect both seats and see if the fuse blows. Then connect one seat at a time and see which seat blows the fuse. You cannot guess a fix. There could be a pinched wire in one of the seats, or the heat wire has broke and is touching metal in the seat. Try my method and report back.

Heated seat fuses keep blowing -- here's why...

ANSWER: The heat pad is bad -- mine was replaced very easily by the dealer and fixed the problem. I thought at first the switch was bad but it was the actual pad that was bad.

Agree. Take teh time to find out whats wrong first. That will be a better idea of what it will cost to fix.

Nothing -- it was under warranty. Took 2 days, however.
