Yes, it seems like forever. If i had the money to buy every thing all at once it would have been just a week or 2

Well i got the motor and trans in and every thing electrical hooked up and many of the hoses. Tomorrow is another day. I hope to finish every thing up top off, then work my way under the car with the axels and stuff.

wow...cant beleive i didnt see this thread sooner..i guess i'm 20 pages late.

few questions for you kris. where did you get the tranny from? are you keeping track of all the part numbers you used and are you gonna post a list? and do you know if the ecu in a TLS could just be swapped for the CLS6 ecu or would you have to completly rewire?

thanks, keep up the good work

You can get the parts list off ...about 5-6 accords have done this swap and there are about 4 threads about parts there.

It will be your best bet to swap the ecus. The few guys that keep their stock ecu's on accords wouldn't rev pass 5k because the ecu thought the car was in neutral because of the different transmission ..don't know how it works exactly but thats what I have read.

Not sure how much wiring will have to be changed on the Type-S?? i know the 2000 the wire harness ends are completly different than the ones the 6 speed ecu has.
Yes im keeping a list.

The reason i went this route is for simplicity. Sure i could have used the existing wiring and stuff, but we really dont have any tuner shops around here that could help me with the wiring. (especially after reading some of the stuff the accord guys went thru)

Don't do that bro...you won't be able to see the finished product because you'll be, well, dead.

Joking aside, I would love to see the manual tranny "rock" during acceleration on a 2G TL. Be sure to post vids!

playing around tonight and put the engine covers on. Seems like the hood closes and clears the covers (but not by much) im going to try running it on, I may cut out the center hood rail for more clearance.

Because it will take all of 2 min to cut out so that the engine looks better with the hood open

Good news Kris about the engine cover. I didn't get one with my IM and I really don't care if I run with it or not.

Finally finished my intake last night (back from powdercoater). I'll post some shot up tonight.

Yeah I had to take my engine cover off because of the strut bar, it looks so ugly without it on.
