Or get a used one resurfaced if you find a shop will to do it.
The throw out bearing is separate. The disk and plate were about 250, then about 30 for bearing. I'm just gonna resurface the fly wheel. dont see it reasonable to spend that kind of money on a new fly wheel.

I dunno about a 3g tl lip. I know someone used a prelude lip before, or the 2nd gen tl wings west lip and shave the side things off, or just get a ron jon front. Just suggestions. Good luck.

Cleaned the engine bay somewhat

Subframe

Changed out the cam and crank sensors on the new motor.
Since i was transferring the sensors between auto and manual motors, i also had to switch out the rear cam gear plate because the auto sensors wouldnt go through the holes in the manual's plate. but it will work the other way around.

Havent taken the flywheel out yet, missing the 12 point 17mm socket. That will be done tomorrow and hopefully by afternoon the motor should be in the car.

Very nice. Do you plan on boosting this motor eventually?

Motor is in. Sounds Awesome and revs up very nicely

Have a CEL P0386 Crank Sensor code. I'll have to check into that later on. I'll install the wide band pretty soon.

Motor looks great! Make a video man.

Off topic question:
Do you have to take a motor out to replace a sub frame or can it be done with the motor in?

u can leave the motor in and remove the subframe. just need something to hold the motor while its up there, like a piece of wood that runs from the fender to the fender.

I'll make a video pretty soon. need to break in the clutch.

Most people probably don't pull the motor then (if there not swapping motors) right? Otherwise it would just require alot more work

Looks familiar!

CONGRATS!

It occurred to me, why not ask for the alt pulley back? They can't use it without the other ones.

i used a TL wings west lip, cut those flares off the sides. It's really easy to work with as it's super flexible, and i like it better than the OEM TL front lips.

Rolled the front fenders today. The cheap roller sucked ass so I just used a hammer, a heat gun, and a piece of wood. I spent about 15m on each fender. Came out pretty good. I think atleast. No more rubbing when going over highs and lows. Only when i'm turning and on an incline. No flaring what so ever.

oh and forgot to thank the guys here for helping me out through out the swap.

Thanks Morgan and Stefan!

straight out piece of shit. didnt wanna spend another 100 for a eastwood.
The built quality is pretty bad. its loose at some joints so it moves around a little when u put the roller on the fender.

so dont buy it. Im gonna try to return it soon.
